I don’t know about him. For me he doesn’t have the defensive presence to play in a midfield two, or the attacking skill to be a number 10. I think Bruno offers more as deeper playmaker.

Not sure on him. Talented, knows the club but is he good enough? Where does he play? Can he do it in the epl? I've seen very little of him to be honest. I've seen him linked with spurs too. Low risk on a free you'd think put there must be a purpose behind getting him.

He is not good enough, for what we need, done nothing when he was here, why does anyone think that playing some good games in the French league as turned him into some sort of maestro, surely we need to aim higher than this… I know we are all starved of some good football or even players, but come on Gomes the answer, let’s have some reality here.

Very talented when in the youth but diminutive. Looked more another Number 10 when I have seen him rather than a holder. Free is always helpful but does he fit what we are trying to play? Not sure.
