We MUST keep Ruby! We need to be seen as a club that gives managers a proper chance to build a squad before calling it a day. We’re under new ownership who have already got quite a bit wrong. They need to see this out now. One signing for the manager. Even if he’s able to raise the level, similar to what Arteta has done or at least find some consistency, it means the next man hopefully comes into a more a stable environment. Environment is of course key, because we’ve seen players leave us and flourish. If we can get rid of the toxicity, it will do us a lot of good.

They will keep him amz, I'm sure of it.

It would be beyond stupid to not give him a full season.

It was a bad decision to bring him in midway through a season, knowing that he would be introducing a completely different system.

It does concern me that the squad are unmotivated in the league though. It has been obvious over the last two months that the players only care about Europa. I want to see him being as ruthless as possible this summer. The club need to be offloading every player that has been putting in half efforts.

If he’s still struggling at this time next year, then there’s a case to be made for changing direction.

Why do they have to keep him? How long do they have to keep him if the clubs still gash nxt season does that get written of due to this new buzzword installing a new style of play . Mind the glory days under the Glazers top 4 or the manager was a bust.

Of course he needs more than 6 months. Every manager deserves at least a proper window and a proper pre-season. Jeez ?‍♂️.

Brum boi, what would your plan be?

Sack another manager?

Bring in someone that plays with a different system?

Buy players to fit that system in the summer?

And if they don’t hit the ground running, sack them too?

The club made a huge mistake not waiting until the summer to bring Amorim in. It would be an even dumber move to sack him now.

My plan would be danny tell him straight play something different till u have players for your system sure i never hired a 1 trick pony i'd have told him that at the interview. i'd also tell him we have standards sitting 16th is absolutely shocking. i'd hate to be the jim now does he stick or twist me i'd give him a bit of funds get a couple of players for this system which in itself is a gamble will it work in a proper league i'd give him till xmas if he's still struggling itd be sack i'm afraid no way i'd have my club a laughing stock 2 seasons in a row down the bottom of the league. A Europa League win might change a lot brings in a lot of extra money i just wouldn't give managers long if they weren't in the champions League spots wer a huge spending massive club no some plucky underdog like Brentford or Fulham.

So, you think the club should tell the head coach how he should coach the team?

Then why bother with a head coach in the first place?

It’s not as if Amorim hasn’t been honest about his approach. He has consistently said that this is his system, and he isn’t going to change it.

It was a key factor in Liverpool’s decision not to hire him. The directors were completely aware of what they were getting with Amorim. The hired him to play his system, and committed to bringing in the players to help him do that.

Why change what you believe in and what got you the job in the first place!

So in your book he should have changed this season for what he had at his disposal, then next year start the process of changing again…. we were never in the position to get anywhere near top 4 or even 6 this year, so season was wasted anyway after the ETH debacle, so why not use this season to see exactly what we got and what’s needed.
Like I said earlier my only concern with RA is the only purchase being Dorgu, who don’t look up to it, I am just hoping he was purchased because better than nothing….

Course he should've changed tactics if he could see the squads not suited to it football ain't rocket science i'm sure Amo nos more than 1 way to play got to adapt with what youve got or he won't last long at any serious club remember fellas footballs about winning having principals and belief in your systems kwl and that but not in the real world where results are all that matters imagine his stubbornness had got UTD relegated you all still be crowing about a man of principle? And yes Danny the club should tell the coach how to do it he's an employee nothing else if his styles ending in a relegation battle of course they should step in man would your boss stand there and watch you burn the building down.
