While Utd undoubtedly need a decent centre forward or two, to win things goals need to come from the whole team.
If you look at Liverpools scorers this season, their goals have come from 14 different players. Arsenal are an even better example with numerous midfielders and defenders contributing 5, 6, 7 goals.
Utd create loads of chances but no one in the team seems capable of finishing.
Anorim should have the whole squad spend the whole summer just practising shooting.

They do not create loads of chances. Our stats are padded by stupid shots from 25 yards. Almost every cross is a cutback. We make terrible decisions in that attacking 3rd.

I agree DB - Just haven't decided if that's down to coaching, discipline, ability, or a combination of the three.

I think with Liverpool, you have to acknowledge the greatness of Salah. Liverpool have coped without a top class striker because Salah scores so many goals and creates so many chances for others.
Bruno gives us the chance creation, but without Salah’s goal threat. I think Arsenal is the better comparison. They have players that create a lot of chances, but lack scorers to put these chances away.
United are a massive step down from that because they rely on one player to create most of the chances, and have worse players on the end of these chances. Plus, Arsenal’s defence is head and shoulders above ours.
I think that an established goal scorer and a new keeper should be the main priorities this summer. We need a genuine goal threat to occupy defenders, and someone who our own defence can trust not to make clanger after clanger.

Dodgy, I see Utd players miss plenty of good chances in every game. Mainly through poor shooting.
