While I can see the desire for a new keeper, Onana would benefit from having a settled defence in front of him. While Amorim maybe tinkering to find his best combination, you cannot help but think that if he selects two CBs who are rarely changed, then the defence would improve.
Upfront is our major problem, forwards with potential are great, but I feel that we need a striker with huge experience that can deal with leading the United line. Too many good players have turned up and withered under the spotlight.

I don’t care what Onana would benefit from. He is the biggest liability in goal for united that I have seen in my lifetime.

A bit of hyperbolism there Danny, we all applauded Onana’s signing, cheered when he shouted at Maguire during his first game and said he would push our play 10m further up the pitch than DeGea allowed.
Suddenly he is the worst GK of all time.
We often wonder why good players come to United and fail to perform, maybe the intense scrutiny and constant criticism from former players, supporters and the media in general means no player can truly succeed here.
We often blame the players, manager, owners, but sometimes it is also us that don’t help the situation.

And if he continues to perform whilst commanding his area and pushing us up the pitch then nobody would be complaining about him. How can you watch his abysmal performances over 18 months and ignore them because someone thought he was a good signing before all of that evidence?
He has had plenty of games with the same players in front of him, does a different player in front of him mean he will save a shot that’s straight at him or if he does save it not palm it straight to the opposition? Or maybe he would pass to a red shirt instead of to the opposition or out for a throw in, or maybe he will claim a cross instead of watching it go past him into the net, or maybe he will shout and tell the defenders where he is so the defender doesn’t pass it past him and give the opposition an open goal to tap into.
Whether he was a terrible keeper before and the pressure is too much for him here or he’s just useless the facts are that he has been a liability and the worst goalkeeper in the league this season after being the worst goalkeeper in the CL last season. I don’t care what the reasons are, he must be replaced and he’s lucky Altay is also a terrible ETH signing or he would have been replaced already.

I’ve been watching united since the 80s. I have never seen a keeper make as many mistakes over the course of a full season. Onana would have been dropped under Fergie.

Onana is as useless as Rasmus, in fact if you changed there positions to each others no one would hardly notice! But I said they were both useless from day 1….

In his final seasons, De Gea was making akt of mistakes. Not as many, but mistakes he was making.

I don't think it’s sudden at all. He has been crap since he started. There were just as many asking why they bought him as those who “applauded”. His alleged distribution skill was awful from the start and having a go at Harry was just for show. Although admittedly I would be bawling at that donkey all day!

Not sure who Maze is but I will answer that….
Maybe because every player apart from 2-3 we got are useless at the level we would like to be at! Have you not noticed that!
