I think we can all agree that onana can't be our goalkeeper moving forward so with that in mind who would we all like to see between the sticks next season? And who are attainable targets?
Personally maignan is first choice as he has all the experience and attributes we need, that isn't happening though so I'm looking at ramsdale, verbruggen and Trafford. Not stellar names but solid keepers who'd be a huge improvement on onana, they also should be attainable with reasonable fees. I don't watch a lot of European football so I'll bow to others knowledge if there's better options elsewhere.
What do we think?

I'd like to give Bayindir a chance before investing in a new keeper, Tim. From the little I've seen of him, I think he's worth a go. I don't think he'd be any worse than those you've mentioned.

If we can’t afford someone like Costa, ramsdale will be available and will be cheap. he had his errors at Arsenal but I think he’s a good keeper
The Brighton keeper is also a very good option but not sure how much they would demand for him.

You could pretty much choose any keeper from top flight professional football and it would be an upgrade.
I can’t think of a single positive Onana offers.
He can’t stop crosses, he’s terrible at one on ones, any save he does make is pushed back into the path of the opposition, he delays play all the time and then just passes it 5 yards to a centre back. Most infuriating keeper I’ve ever witnessed. The amount of errors he’s made that lead to goals is embarrassing.
Other than financial, there’s not a single reason why you’d play him another minute.
I don’t care who they get in goal as long as next season he’s not here, or at least on the bench.

I thought Bayindir had a decent couple of games until his recent injury. Has to be worthy of a run of games until the end of the season IMO.

I’d bring DDG back. He’s had a fantastic season in Italy and is available on a free transfer. Ten Haag should never have been allowed to force him out.

There is probably a reason Arsenal sold Ramsdale and no other top 10 club went in for him, he's really not very good at all, too erratic and makes mistakes nearly every game, he imo would not be any sort of upgrade, however there is a keeper mentioned above who i think would fit perfectly and that is Verbruggen.

The Brighton keeper is an upgrade. Although I’ve not watched much of him. Problem is, it’s Brighton so they’d probable ask £80m for him.

I believe De Gea has renewed his contract. He's making about £2m a year. With us he was making c£18m by far the highest of any goalie in the world. He was not worth it and nor was he worth keeping for £12-£15m. The decision to let him go was correct. The fact that our incompetent recruitment bought a dud to replace him doesn't change that fact.

Even at £15m a year, keeping DDG would have cost us far less than bringing in has, especially if he’d agreed to lower his wages as part of the renewal (as was widely reported at the time) .
In two seasons, Onana has already cost us £47m in fees and £12m in wages, plus millions more by getting us knocked out at the group stages of last season’s Champions League. If his two mistakes on Thursday night end up getting us knocked out of the EL this season (and thus prevent us from qualifying for next season’s ECL), the total cost could go up a lot more before the season is out.

Ramsdale ? that's like trading s turd for a turd.

There’s a guy at Palace called Henderson who’s Bette Ethan Onana ?
I think we’ll see Costa or Trafford coming in the summer.
