Nkunku, seriously? Chelsea play Jackson ahead of him, who, if I am being kind, is nothing special, if I am. beong unkind, is bang average, and Neto gets game time ahead of him too. Injuries aside, given he can't get in the Chelsea team, do we really see him as a good move? Please God no.

Chelsea don't play to his strengths. He's not really a 9, more like a second striker who could be ideal as one of the two 10s in Amorims system. That said, he's injury prone and we don't need that. I'd only like the deal if it's a straight loan, no obligations.

Top players don't need the team to play to their strengths.
For example Amad. Utd aren't playing to this strengths, the guy just grafts and along with his talent he plays really well no matter what the rest of the team are doing.
If Utd can't sign a really great striker ATM they should just wait u till they can.

Not everyone is a top player mancman. We are not the force we used to be, finance wise or football wise to sign top players. We have to appreciate where we are. And we need to sign players that fit the manager. Players like Amad are like gold dust, rare and you will never have 11 of them starting every week. We have to compromise. That is why Nkunku makes sense strictly on loan.

I think this is a fair point. For years we’ve bought random signings with no plan or our 4th or 5th choices. Just sign nobody if that’s the case and play the younger lads.

I hope the time when we buy that level of crap has long gone…. please! Please please, we already got strikers who can’t hit a barn door, all we need is one who can’t even run to see the barn door! Surely it’s just poor reporting.
