Looking like Antony might be the first player out the door. Real Betis on loan with no buy clause.
Granted, Antony is not that good or the future, but I don't see many realistic names being mentioned coming in to the club this month. We need some attacking options, especially with Rashford not being available and now maybe Antony going. Leaving us very light. And a LWB.
Fingers crossed the club will pull something off in the next 10 days or so.

Even if he is not replaced it is a liability both financially and physically off our books even if it is a loan.
He gives us absolutely nothing that a 16 year old kid could not give us.

It would be a guess but suspect Ashworth paid the price for committing that much money in summer for ETH to the point it has left us hamstrung financially, to the point where we have to sell first. That still left us without a striker who scores and a left back. That’s how ridiculous summer was, then more money on sacking ETh. So maybe once they get players out they may do something, yet I would be surprised at anything big coming in in January, not impossible mind you.

A loan for him is good. Hopefully he leaves, plays really well and we get some decent money back for him. He was good at ajax, it just hasn't worked for him with us, started well but then maybe the pressure was too much.

Anyone think just not having Antony around the club will be a instant huge boost?
Just not having someone that bad who earns so much around the dressing room should give everyone a lift.
Really surprised Amorim didn't freeze him out with Rashford to begin with as he definitely does not need to be replaced.
