I totally agree, he was right he should be mad because why can we put a shift in today and it be missing all those other weeks.
I like hearing him talk, it isn't about systems or him getting time with the players. Firstly it's about effort a commitment and desire to win, that's the basic starting block. As he always says you have to suffer and today the players did and they got something out of a game no one was expecting.

Shh Tim don't let the others know he's been doing more interviews. They'll lose their minds.

3 interviews in a day, he should be training! xD.

He was trying to address the million dollar question that has been evading this team/ club for years.
How can they give this level of performance today and then not care tomorrow?
The argument that these players are not good enough doesn't cut it.
Will over skill every single time.
Good on them last night, but let's see them do it on a consistent basis. Here's hoping RA can have success where so many others have failed.

I don't get the hate over the interviews.
Personally I think his interviews are a breath of fresh air, he's honest, clear, but he doesn't shirk responsibility and he doesn't throw players under the bus even when critiquing the team performance.
He's able to say that a player has made a mistake, while also not pining the result on that player. He takes the responsibility for the result and the performances.
He doesn't whine or complain, even when saying about the challenges he is facing, he doesn't use them as an excuse. Just that he and his coaches are learning and adapting, and that the aim is to keep improving.
He totally gets it from a fans perspective, he knows what we want to see and what he and the team need to do to get the fans on side.
He is also clearly very astute and has picked up on the issues this team has had for a long time. The mentality issue, the need to be challenged and to rise to that challenge, the need for leaders and for the players to take responsibility and gain resilience.
He knows what he needs to do, and I think he knows how to do it. What he needs now is time and support from the club to rebuild this team.
I'm confident that he is the right man to take us forward and get us back to where we need to be.
He ticks every possible box.
Tactically intelligent, tick.
Enigmatic, tick.
A leader, tick.
Good record with developing young players, tick.
Plays good football (ideally with wing play), tick.
Good with the media, tick.
Can handle the pressure, tick.
Track record of winning things (and rebuilding a fallen top club), tick.
This is the guy, and with INEOS now running the football side of the club he might have joined at the right time.
Let him cook.

Angel,
I do agree, it doesn't make much sense how we can go from turgid one week to really good the next, although I think far too much was made of the Newcastle game to be honest, we played without our 3 best midfielders and conceded 2 really soft goals, Newcastle were fantastic in the first 25 minutes but after that when we put Mainoo on we were the better side but couldn't create anything as always happens when Bruno isn't on the pitch.
What I would say is that we have had some ok results in recent times against top teams but I don't remember us being the better side too often to be honest. Maybe Liverpool just had an off day yesterday, maybe they expected to win easily and underestimated us, or maybe we played our best 11 and stopped them from playing, time will tell as to whether we can now kick on.
