We should never of sold mctom.
Ten hag should of went in the summer it was inevitable he was not going to last the season.
He hadn't really shown any improvement.
Been a lot of talk from the new owners, but I think some serious mistakes.
That said I do think in 12 month time we will be in a far better position .
A case of 1 step back to take 2 forward.

Jred, welcome back.

I agree with you, I understand why they did, but he should never have been sold.

ETH, LVG, Jose, Ole, none stood a chance with who was steering the ship, it didn't matter.

But look, we've got our saviour SJR, and ex-Southamptons recruitment special-ist in Wilcox. Oh, and a sporting director, no wait we sacked him after a couple of months.

We did get a manager though who has no clue of the EPL, plays a formation but doesn't allow a team to settle. 6 losses in 11 games. It's no coincidence. He should've found his best 11 quicker and allowed them time to play with one another instead of the mess we are watching now.

Love the enthusiasm jred, but I'm not so sure.

I have no idea if this is true, just a rumour I read somewhere, that Mainoo and rashford fought in the dressing room, with Mainoo going at rashford after he tore into Amorim for dropping him.

So maybe Mainoo was on the bench for some dressing room issue, so his options in midfield and 10 were limited?

What was clear was that when Mainoo came on we looked much better. This is an 18 year old kid and I can't believe some of our own fan base seem to doubt him.

I'd love Mainoo to have ripped him one. There's a clip on X where he allegedly tells Rashford to do one. If Kobe feels that way, he won't be the only one.

We should have sold McTom, we just should have replaced him with better quality, it’s like saying we shouldn’t have got rid of Elanga, we should as he’s not good enough for where we want to be, but we haven’t actually got players that are better.

GDS, he is the type of person and player you want in your squad. He personifies hard work, grit and contributes positively when he plays. He's not going to change the world, but again, he is the type of individual that this club has always had and always been a successful part.

Using Elanga as an example or something sort of equivalent is just mad.

He scored 10 goals from midfield on his last season and has already scored 4 for Napoli.

IMO, you don't move on players like Scott, unless, and it's a big unless, you're replacing him with characters with similar traits. But academy boys who contribute positively are like golddust.

Guaranteed Sir Alex would never have sold him.

Also, just to clarify, I know I was having a dig at RA above but they need to see it through, give him the time and tools required to get where he wants us to be. It would be pointless not doing that.

I hope he's a quick learner though!
