I'm not judging the manager yet. I genuinely hope he succeeds, as I hoped ETH would succeed.
Simply an observation, no doubt plenty will disagree with! But we've, once again got a manager from outside the top 5 leagues in Europe. Indeed outside the 6 if you include the championship, which Is an incredibly difficult league to compete in, let alone win!
It's almost like the leadership of the club change philosophy with every new incumbent, almost buying a window of easy time for everyone, including the very limited players we seem to have!
I'm not comparing our squad to Nottingham Forest in any way, but I've just watched their manager in an interview after todays match, in which they lost a major player in the warmup, saying they changed the system and the players fully understood what they needed to do!
If our so called top professional players cannot change how they run, where they run, which direction to pass, to actually pass . Then we really have some terrible players.
I imagine everyone here has worked in Jobs where the system has changed, experienced new managers, new systems, new methods, new vehicles whatever and just got on with it!
Just get on with it, the club is toxic from top to bottom.
I've had enough, cannot speak for everyone else, but not one more of my hard earned pennies will pass into their hands until the club has realised the fans are the heart and soul, not a means to an end!
Many will say "support in good and bad " I've supported many more years than most. Even in the 70s and 80s the hope was there.
Players need to play, management need to manage, the club needs to remember the spirit, the soul, the magic, the hope that built it into more than any other club in the world! And give us at least a hope of returning to that!
Instead of milking the history for profit, laughing at the fans, and killing the future in the process!
I'll forever support Manchester United, it's not a choice, it's a lifetime commitment. Unfortunately not for the owners!

The owners are on trial now, not the manager. They need to back him. The went for an exciting up and coming manager who plays a distinctive style, they need to give him the players to play that style. Many players need to leave and a refresh of a failed squad finally put behind us.
We are paying top level wages for a bottom of the table performance from this squad. We must start in Jan by getting wide players who can fit this system. We cannot accept the FFP nonsense. The club need to figure a way to give amorin what he needs and to stay within those limits. Sell players if needed. Lengthen contracts. Get to work and let's start improving. Hopefully we have hit the bottom, but only if the management team start to make some good decisive decisions.

FFP dictates how much the manager can spend. Trying to offload our overpaid underperforming players will be vv difficult.

I don't care salford. They pushed for amorim mid season. They pushed to buy the club. They need to start sorting this out. Not enough sales I the summer, and many of those players have barely played.
I am not giving them a pass. A firm no to that. We need new players, they can be up and coming and not super stars, but we need to fill gaps in the first team, let alone on the bench.
We need change and they need to start delivering. I can deal with a mid table finish if we start to see major change taking shape. If they pick amorim they have to give him players for his system. Otherwise, may aswell have kept ruud or even EtH, we would have been better off.

Oh you must Dodgy. The club is in serious debt and has one of the highest wage bill across Europe. There isn’t a lot of money. The coach needs to get better than what he is getting today (5 losses) .

If only it was that easy to just get rid of players.
