We’ve made some strange decisions over the years - many incoherent to any understandable strategy.
I do agree with the appointment of Amorim but this means wholesale change in terms of football formation and structure- and that means we need to build a squad around it.
To build the squad with resilience and leadership to the new formation will take a number of windows and there are many players that need to leave. Unfortunately we have spent big on them and they are now of very little value in the market.
The whole infrastructure of property and stadium need rebuilding too and concurrently.
How can that be done under the financial constraints? And does Sheikh Jassim.

Pressed send too quickly

Does sheikh Jassim still have interest in buying the club? It’s going to take a lot of money to sort this out.

We have owners who have just made a billion from the sale of shares, would be nice if they actually invested in their asset for once.

Shall we have a whip round?

Might be able to pay 10mins of Rashford's wages with my Crimbo money.

Glazers put nothing in themselves, why on earth would they start now?

Why would they? They are in it to maximise profit. Not to help.

An alternative route would have been to keep Ashworth and trust ten Hag to work it out. Sadly Radcliffe feels like he’ll burn through more coaches than any “owner” we’ve had.

Let's have some patience. Amorim must have known how bad this squad is and had an idea how to transform things he has said it will take two years at least so it's going to be an uncomfortable ride.
