I see the narrative going round that we were lucky and snatched that yesterday. really? Did city dominate possession? No, did they pepper onana? No, Did we get a gift from the refs? No. We weren't brilliant but in reality had the best 2 chances of the game and kept city v quiet. Proud of that performance against the noisy neighbours, I don't care what they win or how poor we are, Manchester always has been and always will be RED!

No I can't accept that, bar their goal and a deflected Foden shot, no real moments from them that I can remember. We had the Fernandes chance, the Hojlund penalty which IMO was 100% a foul, the equalising penalty and Diallo's winner.
Diallo will get all the plaudits and deservedly so but I also though Ugarte was outstanding. Pressing, tackling and keeping his passes simple, everything you'd want from a defensive midfielder. We could have a real partnership in Mainoo and Ugarte if Amorim can get them gelling.

There haven't been too many incredible moments in the last ten years as a Utd fan, but those last five minutes are right up there. I'm pretty calm watching usually, but do remember screaming when the winner went in.
Up until that point I'd been bemoaning our lack of creative players. Amad is currently a breath of fresh air who genuinely seems to enjoy playing.
Other than their goal I can't remember City creating one chance which is unheard of, particularly at their place. On chances created, we should even have won more comfortably than we did.
Lots of great defensive performances, not to mention Mainoo who had to come on and Ugarte who continues to go about things quietly without much fuss.
Before I get too carried away the LWB is still an issue for me, Dalot found himself in great crossing positions on two or three occasions but had no quality at all.

I thoroughly enjoyed that yesterday!

In fairness Tim, how did you not get a penalty for that Dias tackle?
And that's coming from a Liverpool fan lol.

@Bill - I thought it was penalty shout too. the commentators, on my feed, weren't having any of it. But he literally wrapped his leg around Hojlunds knees?!

I thought hoyland dived. The city players leg went round the top of hoylands thigh and hoylands legs fell like he was tripped around the ankles.
Both teams were poor, luckily we got them on a bad day, they are not usually this poor, we are.

Statistically City have been the worst team in the PL since the beginning of November.

No idea bill…barely seen it mentioned anywhere on any platform either. Funny that, if it had been at the other end there’d be endless articles written on it.
