So if (more than likely when) we lose to city it'll be 4 points from 15 under Amorim. Not his fault by any metric, but it clearly shows the size of the task ahead. Eth gone but the players, their attitudes and the problems they bring, still remain. I like Ra personality, how he talks and also his vision for this team. He really needs full backing to get the right personnel to show his philosophy. Too many players suffering from the modern phenomenon of thinking the world owes them and that criticism isn't allowed. Standards need raised big time, new blood who have the mentality that playing for United is an honour, need brought in. As sir Jim says the club has become mediocre due to nearly 2 decades of mis management, it's going to take more than a few months to turn the ship around. I believe ra is that guy so keep the faith.

We’re only a couple games away from the usual suspects claiming Amorim wasn’t their choice ? I like him, I’ll back him again above players. I just hope we have a structure now that will back him too. I’m sure there will be “fans” who want to blame Solskjaer’s coaching still and will switch that to ETH’s coachin but until a manager is valued more than the players, we’ll continue being a mediocre team. I think Amorim is the man tbh. I like him, like his personality and approach. But I hope he’s backed by the club. I think ETH could have taken us further had he been backed but Amorim does have a better charisma that gives you confidence. Let’s hope fans don’t turn toxic to soon.

Totally agree ports. Difference was that EtH was not ineos management team pick and it always felt like he was on borrowed time.

Amorim is there pick, and they will support and back him I'm sure.

It was never going to be easy changing to this new formation. Some players will not suit it and those who can adapt may take time. We will have times where we look sharp and dangerous, and times when we look like a comedy film. We have to go through the pain to get back to the top. If we don't do it properly we will not reach the summit.

We have quite a few players in this squad who will need to go, and I think we have a decent core if young talent to build around. Amorim and the team above him have some work to do!

Good posts. I also believe that RA is the way forward.

I believe RA is the guy and needs backing for the remainder of his contract and hopefully many extensions. Being disappointed with yesterday is normal.

Amorim a very good manager, will take time but he is a good manager in fairness

As for City, as dominant as they have been in recent years, surely this is the best time to play them? Quite the injury list and players just so very out of form.
