Have been using this site religiously since the beginning but haven't been active recently in terms of posts.
Just wanted to say I'm sorry to hear the passing of ed002.
Although I did not know him, he was a big part of my childhood and even to this day, I'd come on site to appreciate his knowledge and grateful for all that he did for us.

Gutted to hear about Ed002. Been coming here for the best part of a decade now and his insights were a big part of what kept me coming back. These forums won’t be the same without him.

Wow. Will miss his knowledge and sharp wit. Served a couple of bans by Ed002 many years ago. Feel privileged to have been on the receiving end of anything he said. Full of wisdom and always accurate on information. Sad times for us and those around him. He would have been at my top table for dinner and a chat. x.

I've only been frequenting these pages for a few years, but enjoyed reading Ed002's posts and appreciated his immense time and effort in contributing. I knew nothing about him at all and quite liked the mystery in that, and of course his knowledge and mischievous wit shone through in every post.

Very sad news. Over the 15 years I've been a visitor and poster on this site, there's rarely a post that's met with so much interaction and positivity than a bit of insider information from Ed002. His dry and witty responses to some posts as well as the occasional scalding of a poster or two will be missed on the site. My condolences to his family.
Ed001, I hope you and your fellow Eds are doing OK following this news as well.

so sad I ve been a silent viewer of this site for years and I mostly come for ed 002 and ed 001's insight. It is really somber and sad news. Even though I never knew him, I can feel sadness in my heart as I read the post. Rest In Peace to the Oracle of football related news. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
