He’s a dead man walking, the fans forced the club to keep him after the cup final win but the goodwill won’t last long and they will cut their losses sooner than later if we continue like yesterday.
In fairness, we were actually better than the 2-2 against them last year where we hardly touched the ball but the individual errors and issues with the setup have been there for 2 years and he hasn’t fixed any of them and therefore needs to go.
I’d give Zirkzee more than 1 start against Liverpool before writing him off, looks like a good player to me and the positive is that he was in the positions to get the chances and that we created them, last season we failed to create many chances, hopefully Hojlund hits the ground running after the break and Zirkzee can slowly build his way into the team.

Sounded like ETH didn’t want Ugarte, wanted to keep McT instead. Rumours suggested Wilcox overruled ETH and that would explain the ridiculous Harry Potter and months comment. Months to retrain a top player to play like an Ajax player more like. ETH gave McT plenty of chances and he was never a DM.

If people want to be honest about it, so many players did quite poorly yesterday, Bruno and Cas with some basic passes and obviously the howlers. We lost the physical one on ones battles, they were faster, more mobile and more physical than we are. Even with that most of it was self inflicted by some simple stuff a player should not do. They are human and will make mistakes.
Unfortunately people will resort to being mean and throw mud at players for one game and want the whole lot are thrown under the bus. Some of fans are so toxic. Two weeks ago we had bought the next best thing in Zirksee, Today they are slagging him online in various forums being rubbish. And no Onana could not do anything about the goals they had 3 shots on goal and all were perfect so don't hate the keeper but some here will have to direct it at someone so why not onana lol
Fickle and unhinged emotional people to the fact that it takes time for new players to settle down, fitness, routines and getting used to playing in a new team. Players like evra, vidic, carrick would have never made it at united the way the some of the fans behave.

Onana was awful for 3rd goal standing in middle of the goal unable to move his feet. 2nd goal he was slow down to it. He is a poor keeper and his distribution was poor.
Poor system poorly implemented poorly coached.
Liverpool were on the same usa tour and look fitter.

You do realize that only Rashford, Bruno and Dalot were the players that preceded iETH era and yet you blame the players and their ability. Who signed them, who plays them, who sets tactics for them, who should be punishing them etc?

I have to agree with Ahmad on this one. I don’t see how anybody can criticize the players when they’re not being properly coached.
Why on earth should they give 100% when the manager had already written off this season before a ball had even been kicked and blames all of his mistakes on just about everything and everyone but himself? Even if they do try, the manager’s just going to pick his favorites anyway despite them underperforming each and every week.
Motivation. Accountability. Teamwork. Winning mentality. These are all things that have to come from the top. All Ten Haag brings is excuses and negativity, while picking fights with any players who dare to question his lack of desire and favoritism. Slowly but surely, though, all of his excuses are being taken away, at which point he’ll need to deliver or will be out of the door.

There is a big difference between saying bruno had a poor game to get rid, waste of money blah blah. There will be no players left as its generally the same script. we lost, let's see who we can blame, they are sh. t, get rid. pick a week and you lot after a defeat want half gone. Clamoring for the managers head, you will be embarrassed again as it did not go your way last time and neither will it this time, bank on that.

When fans start the social media toxicity how does that help a new player and this is not about you, where is the human side of any of this. Getting on players backs constantly achieves nothing imo and only makes it harder. its okay to say someone had a poor game but not constantly carry that forward against them no matter what they do next which is what a lot of people do, its almost begrudging them for the past and not what's ahead.
