To me the biggest positive from today is the confirmation that Rashford is no longer the answer. I never like to see the crowd get on a players' back, but today has been coming for a long time. Why do we think ETH persists with him? Our most effective player is Garnacho off the left and having Rashford starts means that can't happen. Amad showed more in 20 minutes than Rashford has in 3 games.

Akbar’s, that’s the thing if the midfield wasn’t a tactical thing then he’d have fixed it by now. It keeps happening making me think it’s more to do with his setup than the players themselves.

You can say rashford ain’t the answer but he put two on a plate for Zirkzee today.
Reality here is no one looks good in our attacking structure. People said under Ole it wasn’t tactics and it was just vibes and individual brilliance. I’d have it back in a heartbeat over the dross I’ve seen in the last 12 months.

But we need to be realistic. This squad needs another 2x transfer windows before it’s ready to challenge. So no need to be reactive but when you remove the City game the last 20 games or so doesn’t show any sign of improvement or game plan.
EtH won’t be afforded time. My guess he’s got until the Nov international break to get it right.

It was awful full stop. the worse thing is the lack of effort and giving a monkeys. the players body language is nothing sort of a disgrace. Pool were better, no doubt but at least fight show showing. sadly nothing at all has changed. Same old same old. just awful.
