Seems like we have been ruthless in our outgoings this season with Hannibal now gone. Really only Sancho casemiro eriksen and lindelof left that really need to go and I can see some of them leaving before the window closes. Anthony and Maguire could arguably go but i see them offering something this season and with yoros injury i'd imagine we will have Maguire at least till January.

I'd like to see us move Sancho, Eriksen and Lindelof on and potentially bring in a LB if possible but whatever happens, this has been an excellent window for us. Not just the players we have brought in but the deals themselves. Very positive.

Along with McTominay that will be 15 players leaving permanently so far, with Eriksen, Lindelof, and Sancho all possibly being leaving by Friday as well.
Potentially 18 players leaving this summer, with 5 being signed and a couple of academy lads being added to the first team squad.
That is a massive overhaul, while there will likely be another 5-10 players leaving next summer with Heaton, Bayindir, Maguire, Evans, Shaw/ Malacia, Casemiro, Antony, maybe Rashford. While a few more from the academy will likely leave as well.
With another 4 or 5 players likely being signed next summer. At which point I expect the bulk of the rebuild to be finished, with the following summer (2026) about adding more quality and replacing those that haven't lived up to expectations. Hopefully only needing to add 2 or 3 if everything has gone well.
In the meantime its all about developing the players we have, helping them reach their potential and play with a team identity/ style. Many of our best (potentially) are 4 or 5 years away from starting to enter their peak years, so there is a lot of developing to do before then.
