If we can sign Urgarte, l am thrilled with the transfer business this summer. I still think more players will be sold but we have really, improved in the key positions we needed. Really looking forward to the season now. Good team and good squad now. Well done SJR and his team ???.

If we get that midfielder in and manage to sell a couple more it will have been the window most of us united supporters wanted.
No point arguing on who comes in as each have their own views but what matters is the manager got by and large who he wanted.
Unless we see a significant departure like casimero or mctom I'd say our midfield would be complete if ugarte comes in.
If either cas or mctom depart we would need 1 more in.
Defence looks like its sorted as well as possible this summer.
Huge amount of players have left 12 or 13 with a possible couple more.
Huge amount of work and it's been done really well so far imo.
Couple of misses but that's to be expected at this stage of the journey.
If that midfielder comes in I'd suggest that under the constraints its been a dream window.
As a supporter I'd still love a little surprise addition before the window closes, but it's the hope that kills ya. ?.

Agree tumble. We could have problems at leftback again with fitness, or be missing a CM or experience ed striker. But you can't expect to have everything - especially not in the new financial constraints and considering the mess left by the previous mob. It will have been a very good summer on ins. And slightly below par on outs so far, but the window is not yet over.

I'd like another LB to be signed as we can't rely on Shaw and Malacia being fit. That would leave us with Dalot and Mazraoui as lb options with Amass potentially getting some game time.
With all the EL, carabincup, EPL and FA Cup games we need strength in depth. I would avoid chilwell. He is injury prone and can be hit and miss. Perhaps a late move for Hernoso or even Ferdi at Fenerbace?

Defence not fully sorted yet tumble.
Left back is a concern.
Shaw/ malacia need to be sold over the next 12 months but the defence does look better.
Still not sold on dalot think his defensive awareness and positioning is poor

For me these 3 would need to be moved on if not this season next, Erickson and mctominay only have a year left although we could activate the 1 year for mctominay.
Then there is Antony and sancho both imo need to be moved on.
Other than that I can’t think of anyone left who needs to be sold and replaced
But if we do get ugarte in I think that is a solid window to push on and try get back into the champs leauge spots, 5th could get the spot depending on coif points
I think for us this season top 4 and another cup run, europa leauge should be one we’re aiming to win, but there is still room for massive improvement
Last season what a shocker and was only saved by the fa cup win. But let’s not forget how bad some of these players played that are still at the club
But positive signs not everything can be done in one window.

Of course it's not all sorted yet bolger but it's as good as they can afford to get it this window. Lb and cb still not perfect but it's the 1st window.
