At last eth has had a turn of luck.
The fixture list has been very kind to us.
A great opportunity to gather some real momentum over our 1st 10 league fixtures.
We only play 3 teams that finished above us last season the other 7 are either promoted or bottom half teams from last season.
24 points from our 1st 10 games would be realistic given the fixtures and from there anything is possible.
Of the 3 teams that finished above us villa might have been a one season wonder and spurs blow hot and cold.
Liverpool at home in match week 3 is the a really big one. Going into that with 2 good wins would be ideal.
Maybe just maybe eth is seeing his luck turn.
We will know a lot after those 1st 10 games and as I said we have a great chance to gain some good momentum before we face many of the 'big boys'

Liverpool early on will be an interesting one with their new manager, could be a good time to play them hopefully. Be interesting how they perform this season after 9 years of Klopp. Villa in Champions League will obviously have an impact on them, Chelsea starting another campaign with a new manager, Tottenham, well they're just Tottenham really. Great chance to nail in top 4 but also keep in and around the title race I think, especially with a good start as you say. Certainly won't be any excuses for ETH this season.

All depends on what the transfer window is like
They have talked up a lot now it’s time for some action
But regardless those away games we have will be difficult regardless of the table last season.

I agree with Bolger as it really does depend on comings and goings regarding transfers, how early we get those incoming which is integral to how we develop the team to be a unit.
If incomings are late in the window as well as outgoings then those early fixtures could go the same as the previous season.

After last season I don't see any easy fixtures. It will be a good early barometer though, win the majority of those matches and you could argue we are back on track, start dropping points and the pressure builds again.

Not at all angel.
We saw casimero drop off last season and people want him sold because of that.
Was he not subject to the fact he was covering a very poor defence due to injuries.
Without any signings we know this squad can finish 3rd and win a cup when fit.
So squad fitness and availability is key its what people give a pass to eth for so the same rationale should be used for the players.

turn of luck! need a major window. Squad is so so average an lacks physicality, Pace and technical players in key areas. Everyone else will be better after the window and add quality players.
