Read somewhere a while ago city’s case will get dragged out possibly into 2025. I expect a massive punishment when its eventually is done. Dropping down a division will not be out of the question imo if these charges can be substantiated. Their case is not comparative to everton and a lot more serious.
If the stuff about chelsea rerouting payments off their books through third party companies then that is also quite serious and they will get major points decucted.
Then we get into this grey area of lawsuits by other clubs who can claim damages and cost to them by unfair practices. Pretty serious stuff that might go on for many years.
Imagine the teams who finished 5th or even 6th in some of these years where both city and chelsea were in top 4 and costs of missing cl play.

Not a cat in hells chance they or Chelsea will be relegated, nor should they if you only want that because of jealousy and the hope we might get further up the table then that says all one needs to know!

They'd have to demote City to the Championship, no point in deducting them any amount of points. If they'd lost 10 points last season they'd still have finished 3rd. Even losing 50 points wouldn't have relegated them. But I guess they'd have lost the revenue of European football for a season and a few players might have left.

Hard to make a judgement on what the puniahment should be when it's not yet clear what evidence and indeed defences the club's have.
What I do think is that the EPLnkocling the arse out of this oa po nly going to strengthen the resolve of politicians to implement regulation of to football.
Football is a headline topic, standing up for the little man at the expense of the big man appeals to the public.
That was all announced on the day thw white paper into football regulation was punished or was originally supposed to be. And now the EPL response may well be the hammer iaed to put the nail in the coffin.

Toxic cheating leadership with major questions over the integrity of Pep at City and Barca. Funny how the only club with real integrity on his CV (Bayern) was the only one he had no success at. Coincidence? No. simple algebra. No blood, financial or referee doping = no silverware!
