Before the window closes we would do well if we can sign a decent striker who can play as true number 9.
Get two midfielders in and anything else would be a bonus.
Move Ronaldo on as it will be a circus all year with him making sure everyone knows he does not want to be here.
I would not rush to sell any players as we not very deep in many areas and few injuries down the road will be an issue.
In total that would be 6 incoming, eth has to get the team to play significantly better, no excuses.

Any competent club would find a solution to allow Ronaldo to leave.
There are many players who are easily achievable, would improve us, who wouldn't cost a fortune and would most likely be willing to move to United.
Laimer, Tielemans, Moussa Dembele all have one year left on their contracts and would be available for between 20-30m each.
Others whose deals end in 2023 and who could improve our squad are: Soler, Skriniar, Fabian Ruiz, Oblak, Asensio, Ndicka, Akanji, Tsygankov, Aouar, Thuram, Cherki, and Atal. All would be available for reasonable fees.
There are options out there, but we need to stop chasing statement signings. Build a squad capable of putting in solid performances before we look for cherry on the cake type signings.

Aws can play there defensively. going forward he is quite poor. I agree would be great to get one and have a suitor for aws. we will take a big loss on that transfer.

Agree with you, we seem to forget that to win games we need to score goals. Passing can look nice but it is goals that count. I would argue we need two strikers, one young and hungry another with experience. Rashford and Martial are just not good enough. We also need better control in midfield so at least one quality midfielder is needed and they need to be able to grab control of a game.

All he he ever does is come up with a random list of players and also put there prices on them, if anyone else gets suggested they are rubbish if they don’t conform to his list……absolute tosh… how anyone knows the price of someone who is not even on the market, especially when they are not even directly involved is ridiculous, just take the list of names with a pinch of salt, but it’s hardly helpful batting about name after name!

With 2 weeks to go I would be happy If we got one tbh as there are not a lot of options and still many teams looking for the same.
I think if we could have some control over the middle of the pitch guys like sancho, martial, and even rashfords productivity will go up in terms of scoring.
The next few signings will seal our fate for the year and fred and mc even though they give it their best get out classsed most games, we are in dire need of midfielders.
Finally, I also think if we shore up the middle our defense will suddenly start to look a lot better than current form.

Flanders, nice to see my No.1 fan is back under a new name. Play nicely this time and Ed014 won't have to ban you for the 16th or so time.
The prices I've attached are guesstimates based on the numbers regularly reported in the media for these players. The won't be exact but probably in the right ball park for them.
The list of players aren't players I think the club should sign, but an example of players who are in the final year of their contract (so should be available for a reasonable fee), play in positions of need for our club, and players who in my opinion are better than the options at our club who they would be replacing.
It was more an exercise in highlighting that it really isn't that difficult to find players who would improve us, play in positions of need, and would be available without having to break the bank.
