With just over 2 weeks left of the transfer window remaining, I have to admit that I can't see us bringing any signings that we've all, and the team, have been craving.
The more I read about our club, the more I think that financially, we are on our arses.
Chelsea are trying to throw money around like it's going out of fashion. City just get who they want, when they want. Even Tottenham have gone out and done good business early in the window.
What are we doing? We chase De Jong, a player that clearly doesn't want to leave Barcelona. Then we leap to Rabiot that has an agent that is notoriously difficult to deal with and is holding out for a kings Ransom in wages that our hierarchy just aren't willing to commit to.
We have Ronaldo, that is doing everything he can to annoy the new manager so that he can escape this sinking ship and cling onto his UCL records for another season.
I could go into details about the rest of the squad but you all know the issues, even if our board and management team don't.
It doesn't look good and I, personally, cannot see it getting any better any time soon.

I'm happy that Rabiot deal looks like it's going to not happen.
Rabiot wants huge money, we don't want to pay that which is a positive.
We already have a lot of mercenaries.
Personally I don't mind a sangare even after his contract extension or a Paredes.

Agree and when you look at last years results against bottom half of league we struggled . Expect without any additions in next two weeks we will be scrapping for points to finish in top half.
Present team is set up with individual skills not as a team or physicality needed to battle .

They know how toxic the atmosphere will be next week and will parade a new signing or two on the pitch to try and placate people. They know they need to spend big in the next couple of days…surely?

I was just going to post something along the same lines. I am not sure its financial and if it was I would accept it even though not necessarily liking it.
If its not financial, This is the worst window, which I can recall we have had given last year results.
The players we are being associated with now are a bit of concern and wondering if we have completely screwed it up and not a lot of options and desperation stuff and complete panic at the club.
I would rather not waste money on players, who turn out to be no better than what we have and get through the season with some respectability.
It reeks of a complete screw up and dysfunctional organization.

There are loads of players out there that would improve us, let’s hope we get some good ones.
