We're all doomed I tell ya, doomed!

Bruno was immense when we signed him, now he is anonymous at best, but usually crap.

Rashford was one of England's brightest young talents, now he is shocking.

Sancho was quality at Dortmumd, he has been bang average or worse for us.

It doesn't matter who we sign, there's something fundamentally broken at our club and until that changes we will continue to take good players and make them into bad players.

Liverpool had a bit of this in their drought years and you can see how well they have fixed it. It seems pretty much every other club has some kind of structure that works whilst we continue to bumble along.

Something is rotten, but nobody seems able to tell us what it is. The lack of pressing, energy, desire is unacceptable. How has it come to this?

We have a new Manager who has had zero impact in the 8 weeks he has been with the players. His selections have been odd so far and his reliance on players he knows from Ajax or the Dutch league is worrying.

Is he the Messiah, or is he just a very naughty boy? I wanted him but thus has been a bizarre start.

The owners haven't got a clue, and ultimately they just want a return albeit a lack of success will impact revenues. I don't see anything changing until the ownership does, but there are very few who can afford to buy United.

As I said, we're all doomed.

Martial will be back from injury soon and his energy will drive the team forward.

{Ed014's Note - what car will he be using?

Fergie always talked about signing players that had the mentality to play for Man Utd. Great players have crumbled at this club under the weight of expectations.

We've seemed to have culminated a team full of wall flowers. We have had a squad full of players that I would deem unprofessional. Players that have gone like Lingard, Pogba, Henderson. To players at the club like Shaw who fails to look after himself year after year to Rashford who's head is clearly not focused on football.

Jose was vilified for speaking about this group of players. Fans defended them stating Jose was busted flush, his style is done. The club's reaction to this was hiring someone who dropped the standards so low that it is having devastating effect on the team to this day.

With owners cannbilsing the club and a team of players that have shown this is their level, a perfect storm now approaches. Hopwfully this is the catalyst to finally put pressure of the owners to exit.

It's simple, there is no desire. The club is geared up back to front, with the footballing side seeming to exist to feed the business (sponsorship/ branding) side of the club.

Bayern Munich have stated that the business and merchandising arm of the club exists to supplement and improve the football side.

We are not a football club, it doesn't even say football club on our badge. We are brand United, looking to sell our global position to anyone with a fistful of cash for sponsorship. In the past 9 years we have won three trophies (FA cup, League cup and Europa league), but we have signed (won) nearly 100 sponsorship deals in that time.

It's easy to see where we have been successful and where we are lacking.

While plenty of funds have been made available to the football side of the business in both transfer fees and wages, it has not been used as any part of plan or greater vision. Just lurching this way and that, 1.4bn spent to have a substandard Frankenstein squad lesser than the sum of its parts.

from a footballing perspective we have been run into the ground by incompetence and apathy.

We lack desire from top to bottom, the owners don't have the drive and desire to make us a great football side, just a great money making business. However, that now seems woefully short sighted. How much time, money and effort will it take to get the club back to where it needs to be to be able to sustain the income it currently generates?

UCL money can be kissed goodbye to for the next couple of season's at least. While the continued lack of UCL participation has knock on effects to current sponsorship deals with UCL clauses. While a few years without UCL will have huge knock on effects to any negotiations for new sponsorship deals. Chevrolet sacked the guy who negotiated the United sponsorship deal. Teamviewer (whose deal is worth LESS than the Chevrolet deal) have no intention of renewing and are questioning the intelligence in being associated with Manchester United.

Or next shirt sponsorship deal will likely be for less than the one the club had agreed 10 years ago with Chevrolet.

The ship is sinking and requires a major course correction, but the real worry is does anyone at the club have the nous to do it, let alone the desire to make the Manchester United a football club again.

Lingard is interesting Mumbles. Useless for us, tearing it up at West Ham. He looked twice the player for them than he did for us.

We lack leaders. Go back to 93/ 94, Schmeichel, Bruce, Pallister, Ince, Keane, Cantona, Hughes. Amazing characters. Now we have no-one.

Tony

These same owners were the worst owners for decades in the nfl. The bucs were the laughing stocks of the league. I don’t think they care and look at club as a business and not in love with name or badge.

AJH, he did well at the Hammers and he's having a decent game right now for Forrest. But the proof is in the pudding, he was appaling for us and wilted under the pressure. He's probably more comfortable playing at lesser clubs.

Forgot to add the bucs were a disaster draft after draft. Structurally inept and always drafted guys who turned out to be duds.

How can you say we don’t have leaders when we have Martial waiting to come back?

When the other players see the blood, sweat and tears he leaves out on the pitch, none of them will be able to resist putting in double the effort.

Once again Shappy you are coming out with an essay which everyone knows!

The facts of the matter are that these owners don’t give a toss about this football club, not one single penny of their own money has been invested whilst all the while skimming the dividends.

There hasn’t even been any sign of outside investment. Until we see the back of the Glazers I’m afraid we won’t see the club move forward.
