Alternatively we could have kept him at the club to be third choice and play maybe 3 games, while paying all of his wages and his value depreciates because he isn't playing.
If no one is prepared to buy him this summer, which is probably the case, then loan him out to a club where he'll play most weeks and hopefully impress. Then maybe next year someone will be willing to pay for him.

The likes of telles are probably earning the same as liverpools top 7 earners (not top 3).

We did recently double Bruno's salary.
A couple of years down the line we will struggle to move him on.

Rohana sometimes you just suck the fun/ nice out of everything. Your pessimism is becoming legend. Your business model seems to be sell/ sack/ shoot the entire playing staff and buy new. Fizz, I simply do not care what opinion you have of me.
Our club is run like an amateur club, and I will not shy away from saying that. Or expressing my opinion if I think a players deserves to be benched or if I don't really trust Martial even if things are really rosy right now.
For a owners like ours that loves the money part and taking the dividend out, they are terrible with players values and dishing out huge wages. I don't think telles was an improvement for Brandon.
Apart from Pereira who was on low wages, we've not moved a single person. If Sevilla think Telles wages are 50k and we are paying 100k, and the transfer value is 12m, I would adjust the 50k salary for 2 years and let them have him on a permanent deal for 5m, basically covering the extra wages for 2-3 years.
Our solution to every fringe player is loan him. Bailly, Telles, Brandon, Dean Henderson etc.

Rohan. We have a new management team inc CEO, manager, coaches, scouts etc etc. This is their first season together. You have no basis upon which to criticize them yet. They have a lot of dross to clear out. Give them a break.
As far as Telles is concerned maybe no team is interested in a permanent transfer given how awful he was last season. Assuming Sevilla are at minimum paying his wages, it's a £5m reduction in payroll. It's better than a kick in the teeth.
