Chong is very poor and should be sold, seen him a few time now. Garnacho is a special talent hopefully he stays in the first team squad, could be a great option for us.

Chong is disappointing as he has had 2 impressing or loan spells but doesn’t seem to be able to relay that back when he plays for us. He’s definitely not ‘very poor’, he’s a good player, but won’t make it with us.
Garnacho should be pushing for a spot on the bench all season, I can’t believe he’s not played more in pre season.

Ed014, Martinez looked solid and comfortable throughout, although the real challenge will come in the EPL against EPL opposition.
Garnacho looks special and I've been very impressed with Zidane Iqbal this pre-season.
Laird looks like he needs another loan.
Chong was probably the worst player on the pitch for us.
{Ed014's Note - I had no interest in him Shappy but was concerned when we were linked with him and reports suggested Saliba might leave because of it.
I’d never heard of him or seen him play so was glad when you got him as hopefully it meant we don’t lose Saliba which I’d be extremely unhappy about, as I will be if Arteta doesn’t play him.
Don’t follow your youngsters mate but it’s always nice if one or two come through the ranks.

Ed014, Garnacho has been called up by the Argentina senior national team without ever playing in our first team.
He looks like he could be a special talent and I hope he makes it. He'll need to get his head down, work hard and ignore the hype as talent alone will not be enough for him to fulfil his potential.
If he can fulfil his potential then we have a scary player on our hands.

You keep saying this about Martinez, were you thinking of someone else? I don’t think I’ve ever seen him play until today, I always say I don’t watch any foreign football really so I don’t comment on anyone. Looked good today though, really assured on the ball but has to prove it at a much higher level than that obviously.
Dodgy, not just back mate, have posted a few things over the last few weeks but not been quite as active, been reading but not really posting. Some of the overreactions to a pre season defeat yesterday did make me remember why I got so bored of it last season. I’m looking forward to the season, hope we see 100% effort from every player and that we improve massively on last year.

Close season can get a little tetchy on here. Clear that patience will need to be earned for a few, one loss and the daggers were out!
We have a lot of players who have frustrated for 12 months or so, far to many to clear the decks in a si gle window.
Looking forward to the season, right now I just want the club to earn a bit of pride back.
