So the mighty Frenchman is going to make us regret letting him leave? Too late mate, we already regret letting you leave.2 years too late. Good riddance! I bet you move quicker out of the door than you did on the park. Thankfully one of the main ingredients of the poison culture is history.

Time to move on and enjoy the global reset we require to be a team that can offer up some kind of challenge in the next 4-5 years.

Man utd offered him nothing to stay. Is he getting more where he's going? Doubt it.

The guy has never achieved what he should have, Mourinho was right and he should be ashamed. The guy can play pretty well in tournament football when motivation is easy. Playing for France and playing walking football.

Maybe just better suited to continental football, not many fans upset he was going. Pretty universally felt that we did not want him to resign. Tells you everything really.

17 Jun 2022 08:05:37
Dodgy it’s very well reported and well sourced that he was offered a contract of over 300k a week.

He’s a self righteous prat. We should have cashed in on him in 2019.

17 Jun 2022 08:06:53
I doubt walking off the pitch to a chorus of boos from his own fans towards the end of the season helped convince him to stay either.

17 Jun 2022 09:01:22
It was right he was getting boos.

17 Jun 2022 09:25:17
Spenno, while I personally wouldn't boo players. The reality is when you step out across that white line to represent the club and entertain the fans you are putting yourself in the window to be judged.

Most fans will forgive a few bad performances if it appears you are giving 100%. But if they feel you are half-assing it then it is natural they will feel aggrieved.

If as a player you are happy to take the applause and adulation when you perform well, then you also need to take the boos when you perform poorly. Especially if you aren't trying you hardest to perform well.

17 Jun 2022 09:34:31
The ‘chorus’ wasn’t loud enough in my opinion. Can take his hairdresser and p. off.

I’d like it if the nonsense quotes from his preposterous Pogumentary weren’t posted on here as they are going to be everywhere for weeks with people using it as a stick to beat the club with when really he’s just going to make an absolute fool of himself for another few quid. Good riddance, never want to hear his name again.

Pogba always was a luxury player who thrived alongside hardworking team mates in a well defined structure.

He was never going to carry United in the chaotic structure we’ve had for the last 5 years.

Whoever signed him should’ve realised this before we signed him - and should’ve sold him when it became apparent that he’d never thrive in the team as it stood.

But also Pogba and his agent should have seen this coming and not come to United.

Unless it was the money that persuaded him and his agent.

Thus will go down as a really poorly judged signing from both parties.

Maybe he would’ve worked in a well structured, well coached team with hardworking players to offset his style but that never happened.

Should’ve been sold several years ago.

Horrible person, delighted to see the back of him . He was a massive reason we were so bad. I'm also sure he had a massive influence on the younger player so now that he is gone we can push on. Good riddance.

17 Jun 2022 10:32:53
"Horrible Person", just a quick reminder, you don't actually know these people lol.

Obviously he's going to want to make up for his time at united, just like he did when he first left the club on a free transfer.

17 Jun 2022 10:49:57
Thank god that Waster has gone
I will say it again
Utd’s worst ever signing with fee and wages
Legend in his own head.

17 Jun 2022 11:44:32
Wallace, luxury player = lazy.

Good riddance to the Pogcrap!

17 Jun 2022 11:57:56
Fans pay good money and he struts about. Every right to boo him. I went to my first game in ages against Leicester, first time seeing him in the flesh. He was a joke, he couldn’t be arsed.

His last ever action in a United shirt sums him up, walking off in a strop after 10 mins “injured” against liverpool when we conceded.

17 Jun 2022 12:10:30
I wouldn't boo any player either but I'm not defending them. Just noting if that he was still 'on the fence' at that point they probably swung it. Glad to see the back of him too, this guy has cost the club a fortune and offered very little in return. Any player more interested in their own haircuts, documentaries and Instagram accounts than the next match should be avoided like the plague.

17 Jun 2022 12:47:24
Okay then dsg he's a horrible character to have at your football club, in private he might be absolutely fantastic, but I'm interested in him as a professional football player and on that score he is just about the worst player there is. Genuinely believe we have just got rid of 1 of our major issues.

17 Jun 2022 13:44:13
Dunno Roonbest, I could imagine Neymar giving him a run for his money. Even Mr. Nice Guy himself Cavani, the model pro, was choosing when and if he played or not. We need more players who are walking around in bandages demanding to play, not ones who cry off with nettle rash.

17 Jun 2022 14:09:07
Well we've had pretty good case studies with him being injured for a considerable period. 3 seasons in a row.

Weve been just as bad if not worse without him and desperately need to replace his qualities on the ball.

MCFRED might be people that you would want your daughter to marry but as professional footballers they're not good enough.

Pogba has Definitely been an underwhelming signing and i'm glad he's moved on but i just don't buy the character attacks made on him and his supposed “negative influence” on the dressing room. Seems like standard english media bolloxology that some fans have fallen for hook line and sinker.

17 Jun 2022 14:18:43
Would never boo the players, just my opinion of been a decent fan. Players get enough rubbish from the press, never mind their own fan base. However, in the case of Pogba, it was easy to see he was tossing it off a lot of the time. If that was the case it should be down to A. The management team to pull him into line. Or B. Club get rid of him full stop.

Whenever a player talks about other clubs etc etc they should be booted, no questions asked.

My own personal favourite is Maguire. Again, never booed him, but it’s clear as day that he ain’t good enough. If we see it, then surely the management can see it. Cut the losses and get rid. It’s not rocket science. Yeah you might lose money on him, but suck it up because him playing rubbish every week will cost us more financially in the long run.

17 Jun 2022 14:35:38
Pogba sentiment grew out of him and his agent chatting in the press. Every international Pogba would say something to make a stink in the press. That doesn't tend to go down well.

Add to that a distinct lack of effort tracking runners and basic running for his team mates, and you get the toxic relationship between player and fanbase.

17 Jun 2022 14:50:35
In a very words.

He deserved absolutely "Nothing"

17 Jun 2022 15:01:33
Spenno he was not on the fence he has been trying to leave for 4 years.
