Good for RR telling it how it is with Lingard - that's what these big babies need - BTW how much time has JL had off for family issues? He asked to skip training for the Chelsea game. again. I think people respect mctominnay because he does his best and doesn't complain about anything, people like players that respect the club and no matter how gifted he is, he plays his heart out every time.

Agree with mctominay, not the best but gives it his all. If the others had his attitude United wouldn't be in this current mess. Limited player but great attitude, and respects the club, supporters etc is a very good professional.

McTominay is no star but he would arguably be a better player in a team that works as hard as he does. I'd be very surprised if he is not part of EtH's plans.

I would expect McT to have a role in the squad, he isn't a star he isn't a key piece but I think that he can have a place in the squad a do a job under Ten Hag.

Agree for this, he doesn't make angles to receive a pass, Matic too started to do this recently.
McTom is okay as 4th or 5th choice atleast for the next season as we are going to let go of abhuge number of players.
McTom strength is him running with the ball and shooting, think that's his best trait.

In what squad is he a good squad player? What does he add apart from effort? Is he good at protecting the defence? Is he good on the ball? Does he create? Set the tempo? Is he a goal threat?
I think McT is a good gauge of how little effort the players put in. Simply by trying he has elevated himself to a key role despite having very limited talent and ability. I don’t see what he adds to the squad aside from effort and his ability is not the standard of a club looking to compete.

We are talking about the player being respected because he works his ass off and still does ok for a player with much less ability than some of the other premadonnas we have, pogba is a highly talented player and he's failed miserably for us. You can be as talented as you want but if you don't work hard you won't successful and the fans won't respect you.
