So, lots of names being banded about and I've tried to put the most likely ones of the positions we need to strengthen as a bare minimum in the list below. Ignoring Rice/ Kane etc as they are unrealistic especially in a year when so much movement will/ needs to take place.

Who are you having from each category and why?

CB - Timber / Torres / Akanji
CM - Neves / Phillips / Haidara
AM - Nkunku / Raphinha / Antony
CF - Nunez / David / Osimhen

For me: Timber (potential and pace which would allow us to play higher) ; Neves (ball-player in-line with ETH's philosophy) ; Raphinha (we need a proven RW desperately and he's already the best player at a fellow PL side) ; Nunez (no need to justify! )

Agree0 Disagree0

Raphinha isn't going to happen. I'm pretty sure he's Barcelona bound.

Torres, Phillips, nkunku and Nunez for me.

Timber, Phillips, Nkunku and Nunez would probably be my picks but pretty much every player there improves us quite significantly.

why has Haidira dropped off the radar now, the press were saying he was a no brainer a few months ago.

Sure many of those names would improve us. I don’t think any he’d move for Ajax players personally.
Would like to see Tchouameni in the midfield mix.

Tchouameni is likely to move to the prem. But not to us.

CB - Maguire contract extension and Tuanzebe feels like a new signing
CM - Pogba extension and Donny feels like a new signing
AM - mata extension
CF - martial feels like a new signing.

Out of those options I'd probably go with Timber due to him knowing what EtH wants and how to play his system which is important to speed up how quickly the team adapts. Plus Timber looks like a future world beater.

Neves as I think he suits EtH's system and style much more than Haidara (plus Haidara looks more like a Fred upgrade than a holding midfielder), while I like Philips but his injuries concern me.

Controversially I'd go with Raphinha over Antony. I think Antony has the higher ceiling and obviously is used to EtH's style and system. Yet I think he might take 6-12 months to settle and adapt to the EPL. Whereas Raphinha offers a more immediate impact. Also Raphinha being a little older and more experienced, and given the young players like Sancho, Elanga, Amad, Pellistri, Garnacho and Shoretire all at the club and under 22, I think we need someone a bit more experienced rather than another club 21 year old. We have young talent to be developed in wide positions, we need someone with more experience to guide them and offer more consistency.

Darwin Nunez is for me the obvious pick at CF. Strong, quick and deadly, he's potentially the complete package. Oshimen picks up too many injuries and will cost a fortune. David is an interesting one, not really a striker but more of a wide forward/ second striker. Could play the false 9 position. However, I think Rashford can play a similar role to David. Where as we could do with someone to lead the line.

CB - Timber is a known quantity for EtH and sounds like he is ready to make the next step. Maguire will stay next season and potentially Bailly may think he will fit into EtH style.
CM -Tcechmeini would be ideal and looks like the next Kante. Feel he may be destined to move elsewhere but would be my choice and possibly we have good links with Mitchell before he departs Monaco. Neves may be the more likely alternative and definitely has the ball playing style EtH likes.
AM - question here is are looking at a RW like Antony or does EtH see us stacked with wing players (could do with a left footer) or as a number 8 box to box. If this it could be a player not on our radar using the European accounting network of RR. Tielmans looks getable and would be a step up. The lad at AC Milan wvo is a free this year looks a beast.
CF - Nunez all the way or the Napoli forward looks good also.
I think we will get a decent pot as wewill be out of the CL but sensible first season buys are Important and bringing the youth in to fill the back up slots.
