I brought my 6 year old son, for his first ever visit to Old Trafford yesterday. We sat in the Stretford end. As we approached the end of the game, I could see he was upset as it hadn't been a great game and there was nothing more that I wanted but a couple of goals to give him a great feeling coming away.

What happened in the 93rd minute of the game, I can not describe. He jumped in my arms, shouting, roaring, the roof went off the place, a smile so big. It was an incredible moment to share in that moment.

Pleased for you. It’s the first game that makes or breaks them. Hope you briefed him though it won’t be like that every week ??.

Cheers everyone. It was incredible. He came back down buzzing and was so happy to see Ronaldo live. Up again for the Southampton game.

On the match, I though west ham were well organized, made it very difficult to penetrate them. We controlled the game quite easily. Maguire played very well but it suited him, header after header, no real pressure.

I think the signs are good, we just need to put a couple more wins together now and we could look really good on the run in.

I took my nephew recently, he loved it. My lad hates football unfortunately ??.

Despite being to Old Trafford a few times my kids only have a passing interest in football, I think they just humour me most of the time.
However my niece is a big United fan and she has made me promise to take her to a game this year, there is hope yet.
