Im looking forward to Brentford turning up and playing a blinder tomorrow night, especially as they've lost their last two. No doubt their midfield will be full of industry and energy and will play us off the pitch. Call me a pessimist if you want but you just know it's going to happen. i'm hoping ralf plays the diamond with Donny, as in his own words 'it gives us more control'. but deep down I know it will be mcfred AGAIN!

Agree0 Disagree0

Tim, they've done well this year at home. Will be a tough game.

18 Jan 2022 11:29:58
No. MU should be destroying a recently promoted team at this stage of the season. RR will consult and a result will be forthcoming. Nothing less than a win is good enough.

18 Jan 2022 13:24:03
brentford at home are a decent side maze. and they like to attack, we have got a poor defence and a midfield that is prob on level with theres.

18 Jan 2022 13:55:02
What difference will Donny make?

18 Jan 2022 16:26:10
Atleast Donny won't give away the ball cheaply as Fred.

18 Jan 2022 17:16:24
It's a must win game to keep up for the top 4 race.
However Spurs with Conte will make it hard.

18 Jan 2022 18:04:29
Unfortunately Tim I expect the same.

18 Jan 2022 18:49:16
Along the same lines, if our players are not at it after the dross they have been serving up then maybe they aren't man utd players after all.

Last game they were good for 30 mins, what happened after that I have no idea, but I doubt it was Martial's fault.

18 Jan 2022 19:56:56
We are still a polo team, mint, ut with a hole in the middle. Comment or opinion will not change anything until we resolve our awful midfield functionality and quality. Even then we must re organise that we lack another top class central defender at least if not two along with an attacking overlapping right back to create width.

Nothing wrong with forward line yet I believe that yet again, the board are closest to concluding a deal for another forward and moving Martial out this window. Woodward is also leaving after learning the hard way, truth is, we are screwed.

On the positive side, there is a buyer in the wings, already sounding out the Glazers over a purchase in 2024. They're having a practice at running a football club for another 2 years before possibly concluding an offer. If you're a true red, hope the buccaneers get smashed in the play offs, that will bring us closer to the end of a nightmare.

The team to take over currently run a major champions league top 4 frequent team. There are no short erm solutions to a long term problem.

The sooner we sell Donny the better fed up of people referring to him like he’s the messiah!
??.

18 Jan 2022 20:44:03
A polo mint team??? brilliant Cheshire Red.
What's your read now on the playing side?
The plan you last outlined is that being completely ripped up are they starting again from zero? You felt that ole was 100% backed and there was no turning back no matter what. But in sure you agree they had to act.
Is the plan for RR to write the blueprint?
Have you heard anything on that side or who is undee consideration for new manager?

18 Jan 2022 20:58:20
Only thing ww can say about donny is he hasn't had a run to show what he can do.

Hes been given 5 mins here and there but hope. he leaves and does good somewhere else.

Cheshire you. said we was going to dominate for the next decade under ole, the fact is now the players are being trained proper you. can see how bad this group are.

Leta hope fhe club listen to RR and get rid of the pretenders.

18 Jan 2022 21:00:05
This is a Brentford aide that have only lost 1-0 to Chelsea and City and drew 3-3 with Liverpool at home. The way we are playing at the moment I would take a point now.

18 Jan 2022 21:34:58
Wow the mediocrity has well and truly been embraced by the fans on here. Terrifying.

18 Jan 2022 22:20:43
Maze we are mediocrity now we haven't won a trophy in how many years.

Nearlly a. decade of being poorly run has turned us into a mediocre club

Lets just hope the next 10 years are better.

18 Jan 2022 23:03:26
I don't like or dislike Chishire.
But he (as 002 etc) and those who have an inside view can only tell us about the intentions and plans. You know they don't have a crystal ball to see the future. The plan under Ole was to have a young core of players to dominate for the next decade. Don't use this to beat a man.

19 Jan 2022 00:12:54
Not beating a man but we was never going to dominate for a decade with a manager that was only. givrn the job on the back of a. decent run and because he gave hugs and jaffa cakes at half time

The young players we have are brats, lazy over paid and like a C.V. that have eaten away at what thus club omce was.

Living off the memory and ideas a manager had that hasn't been at the club for 10 years.

We have been stuck in 1st gear when the teams around have slowly been pulling away

And now when it looks like someone who knows what he's doing has come in and said a few home truths its time to all panick again let's see if the board have the balls to trust RR and his input which i think they will,

If they are wantinf to sell they would rather attract the prospect of a new project united than one that's getting further away

We are 5 years behind the top teams and that's if we listen and learn from previous mistakes.

19 Jan 2022 00:35:27
You said that they were lazy and primadonas when our front three outscored Liverpool's or when they finished second? If so then well done, but I don't remember to be the case.
Clearly you had misunderstood the situation or overhyping our players or Ole etc. Or they just had better balance and the last signings made us worst-who knows.
Fact is that Cheshire thought (and was the clubs intention) that we are going to dominate . He was wrong, we (many of us) were wrong. That means nothing. And i say this without buying in Oles plan because i never liked him as a coach. But come on everyone makes mistakes and that doesn't mean that whatever they say is wrong.

19 Jan 2022 10:06:16
Isnt this the Ratcliffe consortium that are currently running Nice, didn't he say he had no intention of getting involved at United while they made dumb transfer decisions.

Hoping the Bucc's don't win the Superbowl with Brady is a long shot, but at least it shows the Glazers do care about football, unfortunately its just the American version.

19 Jan 2022 11:12:11
TRD - Donny never gives the ball away because he's never involved in the game. He's a waste of time.
