Rumors RR has said he doesn't have the time to make the changes he wants, in what he think would be better for the team and would most likely be able to implement his way of playing, given he moves to his other role in the summer there isn't much time to do that,

these players need 6 months to get to grips with proper coaching

i have a feeling we might just give him it till next summer and then look towards a perm manager then,

let him over see the incomings and outgoings over the course of the next 3 windows

would leave us in a much better place and leave the next manager in a better position going forward.

That may well be the way it ends up and that's fair enough to be honest. Doesn't matter who is in charge, there needs to be significant changes before we seen significant improvement.

If Rangnick is manager again next season, I hope both he and the club are sensible enough to have that arrangement be flexible and dependant on circumstances. For example, imagine Poch is our top target and we can't get him in the summer, but he leaves PSG mid season, if he is still who we want at that point then go and get him. Don't wait another 6 months and then potentially miss out simply because we said Rangnick will be manager for the season.

We foolishly stuck with previous managers when we had both the opportunity to get them and the circumstances where the team were not performing well so it would be justifiable to remove the existing manager. The club need to be ruthless in that regard as the decisions made over the last 10 years have lacked this. Players being given contracts despite not warranting these like Jones, Matic, Mata, Bailly, Martial etc. Holding onto players who want to leave like Pogba, Lingard, Donny or Romero. Then keeping managers who are perfect for us until they are not and then fumbling around looking for the next one. Everything screams of indecision and this needs to go.

6 months is not enough, for several obvious reasons, but they main 1 is that the players (these player's esp) will not try a leg to impress a manager that is getting replaced in a few months. they don't need another excuse to be lazy.

Not for me. He isn’t a first team coach, my understanding is he is here for a longer term project to advise, hopefully on structural reform. He hasn’t coached for a long time, let’s not make the same mistake again.

Not like you to moan about a manager Ken.

Who's moaning Chris. It's not the goal to have him in that role any longer than the next few months.
Right call to put in a temp if we couldn't get who we wanted.
RR is not a great manager and had never had success but imo he is the right man in the right place at the right time given the circumstances.
His preferred role is of the pitch and upstairs he will commence that as a consultant in the summer.
Not like you to try and be a smart ass Chris1. Your not usually smart enough for that. ??.
