Being a bit over critical but we are still giving up a lot of chances, the better teams will score them as we saw with Liverpool and city. While DeGea has been great so far, it's also very obvious that teams know he doesn't come off his line at all, on every corner we are struggling, we are so under pressure from the ball into the 6 yard box, which he should be coming out and taking. We need a CB to partner Varane and again tonight AWB has a habit of not taking the simple safe option when under pressure, he repeatedly played a clearance to the opposition when it should have been put into touch. I know this is negative but l still see a big weakness a cross our defence and while McTominay was very good tonight, he needs be at that level every week. Still a long way to go, but we are picking up the points so hopefully a player or two in January to improve our team.

We don't keep the ball we are like a lower leauge team, defence just hoof it, its so annoying. Even for the 2nd goal,

Shaw just hits and hopes it hits there player and comes back lucky for us.

The defence js a shambles, bailly with a poor header when in reality if he just looked behind him he had a free header back to the keeper.

Then maguire rather than take lennon down the side allowes him to keep runnijg at him then take a shot.

Against better players we lose that game, the defence is appauling i am getting to the point of hating players.

Motm was mctominay anytime he plays without the numpty fred he plays better.

Maguire will always be a liability.
Appointing him captain was a joke of a decision from Ole.
Hopefully we get a solid CB partner for Varane and build from the back.

De Gea is easily the POTY so far. AWB needs to be coached on his attacking play.

It was refreshing to see Shaw bursting forward and contribute in the attacks.
We missed it in the last few weeks.

8 games unbeaten, let's build on the momentum.

We still look quite brittle at the back, maybe that is down to the continual changing line-up in the back four, needs some consistency.

A slight tweak to the lineup (in Ralf's words, 4-4-2 in defence changing to 4-2-4 in attack), with Cavani and Ron both able to start which is also great to see. Interestingly Ralf also said every player was playing in their strongest position, with Sancho on the left, despite the numerous debates about him being signed as a RW. His versatility is useful - you don't see Greenwood on that side, ever.

Spenno, that's not quite true. Greenwood and Sancho swapped sides several times in yesterday's game. In fact it was Greenwood's switch of play from the left hand side to the right hand side that produced the third goal.
