Joel Glazer has walked away from the Fernandes deal because he has refused to meet the asking price. In that case why did we bother in the first place?
As ed02 correctly points out we are a bunch of amateurs playing a game of running a football club.
If this player was wanted by OGS, as he claims he has the final say, then why on earth have we not recruited him, as his club are willing to sell.
We now have 1 week to bring someone in or we risk running the gauntlet of a threadbare squad picking up more injuries.

The glazers don't make football decisions, normally its matt judge who deals with the transfers.
