I like the sound of Fernandes without in truth knowing a lot about him, his stats look very good however I just have something in my gut telling me grealish would be the better option. I honestly think grwalish is one of the most exciting players to watch in the prem. Young, British, mightnt be mad money.
With Bruno same kinda thing as I thought with maguire in the summer, could be a very good player but I don't think either will ever be the world beater we perhaps expect them to be. Hope I'm wrong though as it looks Bruno more likely than grealish at this stage.

{Ed001's Note - is there a different Grealish from the one that plays for Villa or something?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol fair enough, lots of good players can be found in teams lower down the table in my opinion and I feel grealish would thrive in a bigger team but just an opinion and again I do think he'd be an upgrade on Jesse or andreas as a 10.

13 Jan 2020 16:49:21
Seriously? Bruno is much better than Grealish. Grealish bare in mind is only a year younger also. Both are a risk but for what we need, Fernandes is heads above Grealish. Tidy player mind just not as good as Fernandes.

13 Jan 2020 17:08:10
OK as I said I don't really know too much about Fernandes myself, only seen highlights and YouTube and as I said his stats look unreal, so did mateja kezmans though and I think bebe did fairly well in the Portuguese league a few years ago.
I've watched grealish a lot over the last 3 or 4 years and I think he's a very good player standing out in a team in relegation struggles in the best league in the world but hey as I said I hope I'm wrong.

Grealish, fur coat no fruit gums.

Personally the player I'd want is Maddison, the lad looks class and has a winning attitude. Honestly baffled how Southgate could consider playing either Alli, Loftus-Cheek or Barkley ahead of Maddison.

That said, Maddison might be very hard boarding on impossible to sign in January or even in the summer.

Bruno Fernandes is able to play at No.10 or No.8 and we need someone who can do both.

13 Jan 2020 17:59:15
Bruno is exactly the type of player we need and Portuguese players do very well in England.

13 Jan 2020 18:23:39
Bruno will be a top signing if he indeed cones to us.

13 Jan 2020 20:03:43
Grealish is a very good player, will get a big move soon.

13 Jan 2020 21:56:03
Someone on twitter the other day said Grealish is better than Rooney ever was, was an unreal comment couldn't believe my eyes.

14 Jan 2020 04:40:37
Maddison is my first choice too, but Leicester will likely ask for silly money.
Bruno is a top player though.

14 Jan 2020 10:38:11
Ed001 do you not rate Grealish? Ignoring his off the field behaviour I see a very talented player there that with the right coach could star in this league.

{Ed001's Note - very average player with a horrible attitude and lack of any footballing intelligence. Always takes far too many touches and is a big part of Villa's problems. He is not good enough for the top half of the Prem. Or close to it.}

14 Jan 2020 11:18:05
We appear to be dithering again re Bruno. Shades of the summer fiasco all over again.

14 Jan 2020 15:53:26
Ed01 I agree that grealish takes too many touches. If you watch villa though everything goes through him, it's kinds give the ball to Jack and see what he can do. I believe in a stronger side and particular with 2 strong midfielders behind him he would flourish. For me he looks to be up there with maddison in terms of sheer talent, Leicester are a much stronger side than villa though. Don't forget he boseed the championship aswell and is villa captain at a young age, he did have problems with his attitude in younger days but I have been reliably informed that that is in his past and he is maturing day by day, I have Irish family who have lived in Birmingham since I was a boy.

{Ed001's Note - He never bossed the Championship. He is nowhere near Maddison. I don't care what your family tell you, every time you watch him on the pitch you can see that his attitude is stinking when he strolls around throwing a strop every time everything is not going his way. I have no idea what an Irish family has to do with anything or where they live either, but there you go.

The whole point is that everything goes through Jack and he strangles it. Give him a stronger team and he would just be shown up to be the issue more starkly. He is simply not that good.}

14 Jan 2020 18:49:17
OK Ed your opinion is clearly more valid than mine.
And I alluded to my Irish family in Birmingham because my granddad lives very local to his cousins, has for a long time and know them well so I'm sorry but on his personality I'm sure I'm better informed than you, since you asked.

{Ed001's Note - if you say so. You sound so well connected it is hard not to bow to your wealth of knowledge. I mean who could possibly not bow to someone who has a family member who knows a family member?}

14 Jan 2020 18:54:27
Also I don't see why you have to be so ignorant in your replies, didn't realise my opinion offended you.

{Ed001's Note - it is not me who is being ignorant. But you carry on lad. I won't bother again.}

pique is piqued.
