I have been reading the posts on this site for a number of years but decided to register today. I was at a wedding here in Ireland over Christmas and got into a debate with a guest who lives in London about whether Solskjaer should be sacked (I'm a romantic so believe he should be given more time) . Anyway this guy tells me that his boss lives nearby Ed Woodward with whom he is friendly and Ed apparently wanted out last year but that the Glazes convinced him to stay on for another season but he will go in the summr. Do any of the Eds know if th.

{Ed002's Note - No, he will be some bitter Manchester United fan who like most blame Woordward when they no nothing of the structure of the club and business at all. I would not worry about it DPB - enjoy the wedding.}

Cheers Ed. I recall you referring to United's amateurish approach to transfer business. Surely responsibility for those flaws lies with Woodward?

{Ed002's Note - No.}

Thank you once again Ed. Are you able to provide an insight into the structure of the club and why we are ineffective in the transfer market?

{Ed002's Note - I am afraid it is not worth the grief.}

Thought Matt Judge and team were responsible for all transfers? I guess though, whoever is, and whoever hires these people are the ones who must take some heat for any transfer failings.

Still don’t see who has overall responsibility for our football strategy - as in what is our philosophy, style of play, transfer policy, youth structure, player development and coaching etc.
