Can we say that our following positions are now sorted RB, CB, LW, RW, ST?
Our front three is capable of scoring freely provided there is enough supply from midfield.
Defense has been fine (not great) and i think we may add a CB to the ranks to cover an odd injury to either Lindelof or Maguire.
Fred can be a good squad player and we will need an another CM alongside McT, any one of Neves or Ndidi will be a great signing.
Thoughts?

Midfield has to be the priority now. I think we need more depth in the front line as beyond Rashford, Martial and James we don't have anyone else ready to play week in week out, just youngsters or a serious drop off in quality (Mata (due to pace), Lingard and Andreas Pereira) .
I think we are fine at CB. Maguire, Lindelof and Tuanzebe are decent options. Bailly, Smalling and even Rojo are okay as cover if needed.
For me the issues with our defence is actually a lack of cover in front of it. We are often wide open in the middle allowing midfielders to have a run at our CB's unattended.
We need a DM, a AM, a striker and another wide player. Then maybe another CM if Pogba leaves as expected.
In a dream world I'd love us to sign Zakaria, Bruno Fernandes, Maddison, Bergwijn and Moussa Dembele.
We would then have options in midfield, and quality in depth in the forward line giving us options off the bench.

Are we sorted at CB?
Look at the goals we are conceding the centre backs don't close shots down and are being bullied by the opposition.
We should be getting rid of rojo jones and bailly all 3 are liabilitys either with injuries or the way they play they will always cost us points.
Maguire and lindeloff need to be miles better for the money paid they haven't been anywhere near good enough and its costing us points.
Midfield is the main issue we have no midfield.
Pereira, Matic, pogba all need to leave.
Mctominay has been immense and fred has improved but we need at least another 3 or 4 players there.
We also need a right winger and another number 10 as well as a striker.
I would also argue we need another right back to give wan bissaka competition.
We are prob 7 players away for having a decent team to go along with the few decent players we have atm.
Are we going to spend in january? Doubt it.
But what ever happens we have to spend in the summer.
We will prob finish between 5th and 10th. The season is over and we should be looking at starting a team which will still be here next summer.
Build a way of playing and accept we are going to get performances like yesterday as long as the team is fresh hungry and give a f**k.

We are still in 4 competitions, I couldn’t imagine being so pig headed about it, the season is far from over, unless you think it’s either win the league or nothing? We knew we weren’t going to win the league this year so the season was over for you in August?
We are through in Europa and have a QF coming up in the cup we should win. Our results against teams in the top half of the table have been pretty good so if we can get on a run top 4 isn’t out of the question either, and if we finish 7th then we improve and go again, the season is far from over in November.

We haven't won back to back games since March.
Any chance of top 4 is over. Were now accepting top 6 as a good season 😂
We are miles off a title but top 4 was easy achievable before the start of the season.
And we ain't winning the Europa leauge.

Bolger, I think CB is far down the list of issues we need to sort out.
You point out that we don't have a midfield, and for me that is the biggest issue with our defence. They shouldn't have to be stepping up into midfield to stop the ball, our midfield should be doing that.
Look at Smalling, he was okay here with us, but over in a defensive league where teams defend as a unit he looks one of the best in their league.
The step up he has made is because the midfield he has in front of him.
In Maguire we have a solid if unspectacular defender, in Lindelof we have a very good player, in Tuanzebe we have a future captain and leader who is an excellent all round defender. We have three good options for two places. Beyond that we have Rojo who has looked more comfortable on the left of a three man defence. Smalling could yet stay. Jones and Bailly probably need to be moved on.
If we are to sign a first choice standard player we will be looking at 50m plus, which when we have decent options seems a luxury when we have such poor options in other areas.

Guys, just try and enjoy the ride, rather than fixating on what if's. Three of our academy players scored on Sunday. Great to see. There'll be good and bad this season, drama and frustration. I enjoyed the game on Sunday. Not so much the first 60 odd minutes, obviously, but the last half hour had me on the edge of my seat again. Yes, we threw it away with more comical defending, and those mistakes need to be eradicated, but we can cry all we want which changes nothing, or accept where we are just now, and enjoy what's left of the season. We'll see where we are then, and I'm sure decisions will be made then.
