I’ve watched that free kick a lot and the ball behaves very oddly. I get swerve and spin but it starts to move right before veering wildly right. I don’t know how that happens but it was still very impressive. I thought we looked like a team last night, lots of energy and a high press, which is what Ole told us we would get but we haven’t seen enough of. There was a spell when Chelsea got on top and scored but the substitutions got us back in control.
The last 2 games have been encouraging but it is just 2 games. 21 shots against Norwich and an away win at an in form Chelsea. It’s amazing how the mood changes with a few wins, I know how good I’m feeling so I imagine the players are also buzzing.
I even enjoyed the chat last night, a couple of new heads but the banter even lightened jaime up! Apart from Stevie’s poo💩 it was a good craic.

I heard it was the mitre ball they played with last night, but in the Premier League they play with a Nike ball. Crazy to have that much of a difference in behaviour.

You hit the ball on the valve and it sends vibrations into it to make it do that.
When you used to remove the rubber from the inside the ball was no longer round anymore because of the valve. i believe nowadays they are glued tight on all the joins so there is no inner tube anymore though.
