I appreciate your a busy man, but if you could reply to the below when you get time it will be much appreciated.

Do you think that if utd lose to liverpool the club will decide to move ole on?

I'm not sure they will sack him but maybe he will get told to walk away or move onto another role?

Surely the glazers must be having a look at the football decisions and are starting to get concerned or are they completely out of the football decisions picture?

{Ed002's Note - I have explained that the club will be reluctant to make the decision to sack the coach - but they should - and he should never have been appointed in the first place. Why bring up the Glazers?}

I don't think the glazers are as hands on as let's say Abramovich when it comes to stuff like that Big v

They just own the club they don't really give a monkey's as long as the money is still coming in.

It's a business for them where as to us fans it's more.

Think that's where most of us are confused as to why the glazers have aloud this shambles to carry on for the past 7 years.

Bolger they are business men revenues are up. they don't have a problem until they decline significantly for a sustained period. Simple. The glazers don't have any problem at all.

Would love to know who actually makes all the decisions? Have they got the football side or the commercial side as the first thought?

07 Oct 2019 18:43:08
Hey ed02

Thank for the response, I brought up the glazers as I wanted to know if they ever make any footballing decisions as everyone seems to think they have no involvement.

I think all the fans just want some clarity on who is making these decisions along with ed Woodward in picking the wrong managers and not having a clear plan for the club footballing wise.

{Ed002's Note - The owners do not make decisions about footballing matters.}

07 Oct 2019 18:49:50
Good thing or bad thing ken? They've also released over 900m in recent years to invest in the squad.

07 Oct 2019 19:04:24
How generous of them angel.

They’ve also take close to £900m out of the club to service the debt they loaded the club with when they used a leveraged buyout to purchase it, and the club still has over £500m in gross debt.

How can the owners of a football club not make football decisions If you own a business you get involved in all aspects.

{Ed002's Note - So you want people who know little about the making transfer policy?}

07 Oct 2019 20:37:32
How long have they been owners? Why has one of them not got more.

07 Oct 2019 21:16:12
Why when they said they would appoint a manager at the end of the season did they rush to appoint him as manager.
Because everyone press and fans wanted him as manager, everyone pushed them to do it and they did.

07 Oct 2019 20:45:09
No Ed, I want owners who get involved in the business, they must bloody know it takes success on the pitch to earn money. Sponsors will come and go depending on the success of the football side of things. It's not hard to understand.

{Ed002's Note - You don’t seem to understand how any of it works.}

Again i have to say why should they get involved in the footballing side. They know nothing about it. They don't need to. Its been a fantastic piece of business by them financially. Its been a cash cow. They have no financial risk or scouse at this stage.
Im sure they will react when and on mutt if there is a sustained drop in revenue.
I don't see why people get upset about them. Its an investment they don't have 1% of the passion for the club as the average united supporter.
Those that question their methods and the way they leveraged the club without using any of their own money etc etc may well be angry but looking at it from a purely financial and business perspective they have pulled of an unbelievable deal and those that call them idiots or whatever i think its unfair. They are no idiots and they know exactly what they are doing. They just don't necessarily want the same things and have slightly different objectives to the supporters.
If they are so thick then go out and try and make the money they are making.
Im sure they recognise that in order to maximise their returns they know the club has to be challeging so if results continue they will get twitchy.
Money makers not necessarily trophy collectors. So i'd say they think they are doing a great job.

I understand that fans get so upset them because they see them just taking money out. But have they not had a big hand in the growth of the club's commercial arm?

We are now worth something like 2 billion and they have never been shy at reinvesting money back into the team. we are a commercial animal and when they sell, will we not be in a better financial situation?

Those that run the footballing side of the club However, are the ones who have a lot to answer for.

Glazers will step on once profit goes down.

Agree with Angelred.
The amateur decision makers are the ones that needs to be removed.
The structure of the club needs to be addressed first.

08 Oct 2019 10:51:18
Ed,

From my understanding, it seems the glazers obviously don’t look at the day to running of the club and leave most of the work for Woodward to do. Maybe most of the decisions related to football are also executed by him, but surely they must be able to see that they need an experienced individual to manage the football aspect of the club, and let Woodward handle the business aspect of it.
Do they not understand this?

{Ed002's Note - Your understanding is far from correct. Just move on.}
