Ed02 - do you think the board will continue to give Ole time, no matter how bad the results are?

Given the importance of top 4, I struggle to see how he stays for much longer.

Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - Nothing has changed. I am not sure why you mention "the board", but Manchester United, if they are going to improve, need to deal with this terrible mistake and move on. There is a reluctance to do it but there is an inevitability that it needs to happen. It was a stupid mistake and thoughts about keeping it in the MU family are at best naive.}

And here you go guys, ed002, tells it as it is, and even he has been saying ogs was a mistake. But will Woodward and co finally accept that maybe they're not best placed to make footballing decisions. Somehow, I think the Glazers/ Woodward circus will be running for a long time as we, the fans, keep lining their pockets with gold.

ED 02. You seem to imply that the Board don't make the football decisions about hiring and firing the manager so if not who does.

{Ed002's Note - The fans are looking for people they don’t know so they can abuse them. The complete lack of knowledge about the set up and operation of the business and club is laughable.}

Well whoever is making these decisions needs to go as well.

You agree he needs to go Mort?

Mumbles if were in charge I would give him the time. However I'm not in charge so I think he will go sooner or later.

However I have no confidence in the suits to not make a mess of it.

If he goes it should be Wenger short term whilst we approach 4 managers to gauge their interest and ask them to formally apply.

My 4 man shortlist would be the managers of Leeds, Salzburg, Leipzig and England.

I'm pretty sure Woodward does the hiring and firing of the managers. The board as in the Glazers leave the running of the club up to people like Woodward.

Remind me again why I wholeheartedly agree with Ed002?

His knowledge, insight and vast information are undeniable. Sometimes, I do wonder if, just if the glazers were to ask Ed002 to man the helm just for a year.

& no, I don't mean as the manager but a key strategic football position like a DoF. Or PERHAPS, a CEO's position like Woodward.

But a man can only wish.

Anyway, maybe Wenger can be a good short-term solution.

Yaz,

I don't think the club could afford ED002s wages.
