Pressure is constant at United, everyone wants to beat us. I wonder looking at the table today whether the pressure will ratchet up a notch for Monday's game, but with a different type of pressure. We are in 11th, 13 points off the top yet only 3 above the relegation zone. Monday is a game we need to win, more than usual and we used to say that about Championship winning games. We can't afford to lose on Monday because potentially a defeat in a game or so, possibly the Liverpool one could see us in the bottom three. I wonder how the ego of these players will cope with a different type of pressure.

Dont think most of them will be bothered Red Man . We have seen it so many times this team or our club for that matter has no character and winning attitude.

i replyed a few days ago. if we lose 3 of the next 4 games. if the club will come out and say we are going in the right direction.

We’re going down, everybody needs to get ready for away trips to Brentford and Milwall.

I know the world has gone mad but for Gods sake GET A GRIP!

i don't think for a moment that we will go down.
I think that's a bit sensationalist.
But without an upturn in results very soon we could be just floundering About mid table and given our recent results and form going back to march its quite likely.
I really don't know what he can do. Or what he should do.
Ive no idea what the best 11 for monday is.
You just have to hope they get the right combination.
A bit of bad luck with injuries has not helped but it gives the likes to greenwood and James the chance to prove they are better than rash and martial.
I agree with you redman that the pressure will begin to crank up a couple of notches if we lose. That's the nature of football.
Ole needs to start getting results.
I think we will beat aresenal i think they are weak and whatever 11 ole puts out will probably out fight aresenal and do enough to win.
We are at home we need to win to gain some confidence and positivity.

Ken

I don’t think we will go down but another defeat and it could become a spiral. We should get enough points at home to be mid table as things stand, away from home things look poor and we need to pick points up.

As to Arsenal, I half expect Xhaka to get sent off and us to find a way to a 2-1 win, although don’t know how we will get two goals. They are weak in defence but score goals and I can’t see them not scoring. They tend to dominate midfield against us, wouldn’t surprise me to set up to hit them on the break.

We know we're not winning the league, so why use that comparison? To encourage this downward spiral narrative? We're only 3 points off top 4, which is a much more realistic target. There, doesn't look so bad, does it?
