The unfortunate reality we find ourselves in currently is simply a consequence of poor results by our team. If we were winning games; even by slim margins and not playing very well, there will still be less doom and gloom here.

It is a natural response to this situation where we find ourselves wanting to vent, blame, come up with possible solutions (even outrageous ones), some even take it too far by being verbally abusive on various social media platforms.

After the west ham result, most of us already knew what to expect when we logged onto this site. If someone thinks they will come here and be cheered up by some 'on the bright side talk, they should know that such comments after this performance, can be one per page.

For people who have been here long enough, we know whose posts will have that 'glimmer of hope' aura about them.
However, if this can be an outlet for people to vent, I will not stand in their way, after all how our cups fill may vary, today your cup may be spilling over, tomorrow, i may blow a fuse. The choice is ultimately ours, when i read a post and I don't like the direction it is going, i simply stop so it doesn't 'further' ruin my day.

In the heat of the moment, we can all post some stuff which a week later we end up wondering what were we thinking.

Will end this by saying I hope our team comes good soon so that smiles can return to our faces!

Great post mbd.
We all have our own opinions and views but what unites us is that we all want to see the club doing well. We are friends not foes.

Yes we all want to see United do well, as a supporter for over 40 years, I’ve witnessed the bad, mediocre, and the absolutely amazing. I’ll never stop supporting the club or the team.
But let’s be absolutely honest, whatever Woodward says, there’s no plan apart from money making.
Ole is a legend on the pitch, but will never ever be a legend as a manager.
Limited tactics, no clear idea, no real leadership, it’s a mess, even the staunchest club die hards have got to admit.
Nothing is going to change. We are in a massive downward spiral, that’s going to continue unchecked. Until the club as a whole actually prioritise the team over the marketing.
I’m sure there will be lots of “ give him time” “ he’s got a plan” . really? What plan? To be even worse than everyone else?
Let’s get real. Wrong manager at the wrong club, jobs to big. Ole isn’t Ferguson. And we need a real plan.
I’ll never stop supporting Manchester United. Doesn’t mean I’ll be blind to the massive decay that’s ruining this great club.

Ericgod best post I've read in years. But I also appreciate MBD post that we should all be free to write what we want.
Eric you hit the nail on the head regarding owners and Woodward. Why would the club come up with a daft statement about their ambition, that should be a given at United, but unfortunately, it isn't. They're just bulls. tting as usual and most fans believe the hype.

Thanks AAA, and I agree 100% it’s great for fans to be able to vent and disagree. But they should never turn on each other, we all have exactly the same want, success and trophies. Or at least should have.
And as our club’s tradition we’d all like it to be exciting and exhilarating.
This is a fan base and supporters that endured, sexton, docherty, Atkinson, so have amazing patience, also the early Ferguson years, difference was we had anticipation and a belief, I don’t think many fans have a real belief in the direction we are supposed to be going right now.
That’s the big shame, expectation has been lowered.
