The thing is, if we end the window without making any more signings there will be no rioting, and the same people saying wait and see until the window closes will be saying get behind the players we have because the transfer window is closed.

I’d say it sounds like providing blanket justification for persistently amateur behaviour in the transfer market, and enabling the club to resist much needed change to their shoddy recruitment setup.

Jred, every man and his dog knows we need serious. Investment to compete at the top table again. Between you and gds it’s like us fans are asking for too much. How dare we ask for a couple of signings to improve after the dross we’ve been served the last 6 years. If your happy for us to be 6th place every year good for you, I have higher expectations.

Agreed Stand, it's as if people are asking to buy Messi, Ronaldo and Griezman all in one go. We're supposed to be one of the top 3 most powerful clubs in the world, but our recruitment is shoddy at best.
Is it too much to ask our club to concentrate on the playing staff for once instead of another merchandising contract.

I’ve never said I don’t want us to make signings, I want us to make 2/ 3 more signings and think we desperately need them. I’ll still be supporting the team if we don’t get them though, we have some good quality and I hope Ole can get the best out of them.
