am so upset with the board, 20 years hard work undone in 6 by money grabbing sharks, who are happy with mediocrity. Woodward and his masters haven't the foggiest clue about football, and neither does Ole with all his u-turns with this squad.

No money spent last summer, no money spent in January, and no significant money spent this summer shows a small club mentality. Fans better be ready for more disappointment this season. If the Board think we will be anywhere near top four, we are sunk before a ball has been kicked.

Don’t you think it’d be better to wait and see what develops till the window closes, Before we start moaning, I agree we shouldn’t have to sell to buy players or swaps, wait till the plan develops. Then start moaning.

If you don't like it mate, there are plenty of other teams you could support, instead of moaning.

Typical knee jerk reaction.
There is a month before the transfer window shuts.

No money spent you are clearly a WUM. If this drivel gets through the Editor's net god only knows what we don't see.

I think if any fan complains that no money has been spent than they are delusional. It’s how we’ve spent the money. Typical over the top reaction.

Yes Park, perhaps if they finish the sentence.

No money has been spent 'WELL'.

Spartan Red - What u-turn has Ole done with the squad? You want the manager of the team to come and say any of this to media?

Pogba - I'm going to sell him
Lukaku - I don't like his first touch
Lingard - The quality of your instagram videos has become poor, off you go
Smalling - Go get a haircut
Jones - Go become an actor
Mata - You're a nice guy, but nice guys finish last, off you go!
Young - You ain't young anymore, sorry, mate

Is this waht you expect from a presser that the gaffer does? We bought Fred last summer, the summer before that we bought players, we've been buying players ever since the transfer window has been open. Don't whine about things that are irrelevant.

Wait it out, the window is still open if you can't then don't read what lazy journalists write.

To be honest I’d much prefer if Ole followed PSG’s example with Neymar and said, ‘if Pogba and Lukaku want to leave the club, and a suitable offer is made, the club won’t force them to stay’.

At present it looks like we’re trying to convince them to stay, when the reality is that we simply haven’t received acceptable bids for them. Put the onus on the likes of Real, Juve and Inter. If they want these players, then make an offer.

Unfortunately that’s the case Wazza. I honestly believe that AWB is possibly our most well thought out signing in 6 years. And he hasn’t even played a minute for us. How depressing is that? We have spent more than the majority of teams, but rarely have we spent it well.

The window is still open, a ball hasn't even been kicked yet the hysteria on here has been depressing.

I'm all for rational and sensible debate so let's be realistic. Success won't happen over night and the team must be re built.

What we all want to see is a more expansive, progressive and energetic Team. We want to see a Utd team play on the front foot, be braver, take chances, press higher, work harder, get us on the edge of our seats. We want to see a recognisable structure and style of play with players forming solid relationships and understandings.

Next season we need to build on those principles and implement them more consistently. We are in a battle with Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal for a top 4 finish. Chelsea are on a transfer ban and have lost their best player. They also have an inexperienced manager. How they cope without Hazard will be fascinating. Arsenal don't appear to have the funds to significantly strengthen their squad. Spurs are a very good team but the gap is by no means insurmountable. If we can hold our nerve, not get distracted by the Pogba and Lukaku sagas, make another few good additions before the window closes then maybe our season won't be the disaster everyone is predicting.

The principles of investing in youth and giving young players a chance requires stability and patience not just from the Club, or the manager but also from the fans. It's hard to make any meaningful predictions about what we can expect from next season until the window closes. I'm still hopeful of a few more additions which could just make all the difference.
