I have seen a few people saying Ole is a championship manager and out of his depth.

Regardless of his ability he was offered the job and took it, so any one who blames ole for anything should look further up the hierarchy.

As for not being advised properly, I'm sure there are plenty of experienced guys around him, if they are wrongly advising him and going along with the supposed knee jerks decisions they should be removed from the club too.

The revered Ed002 is saying that not just some people.

Why look at hierarchy? Why not look at ourselves? The media the hype that was around ole the feel good factor wasn’t provided by hierarchy. It was provided by ole winning games n us singing oles at the wheel. Ed said there was some on the board that said it was a mistake. The end of the season has proved that.

Bit of support, feel good and freedom for the players and we start winning games. A miracle!

The arsenal game and the wolves games knocked the fight out of a fragile squad. Everyone stopped believing and started doubting. The squad factions started to divide. No chance of champions league and the team stopped playing.

That is why the squad needs a clear out. Big time Charlie's who don't want to be here can go and find another franchise and leave the club to rebuild properly.

If we become a mid table club for a season but build a young exciting (yet inconsistent) team ready to add some pieces again next summer then fine with me. I just want to enjoy watching football again, and this squad of misfits has clearly not worked.

I am behind Ole and hope he gets it right and shows the doubters they are wrong. There is no arguing with evidence, we can only wait and see, or panic and ditch the experiment now. I'm all in, knowing that it may be a rocky season if all the knives are being sharpened ready for the first set back.

Well said dodgy, the run we had was great for us to watch and enjoy football again. Other factors were a part of it but ole delivered that and since fergies rvp season I’ve not enjoyed a run of games as I did them games. Yes it’s a risk and may well not work out but the “safe” bets of Jose n lvg didn’t work so I’m on board with this regime and new outlook and urge the rest of our support to do the same.

As a true fan, I will always support whoever the manager is.

True Red Devil

So you never called for the sacking of any manager?

10 Jul 2019 07:32:55
Nope Red Man, never have called for a manager's head.
Always backed the team irrespective of who was put on the field.
That's the bare minimum a true supporter must do.

Not before a ball was kicked.

10 Jul 2019 08:57:34
Red man, so what's your view on Ed002's view of the Glazers?

10 Jul 2019 17:48:48
Shappy

My view on the Glazers is clear and well known. I have a decent knowledge of Finance so feel able to comment on what they have done. If that differs from Ed002, then it differs.

Jred, still can’t get over that I was right on Moyes. At least his 6 year contract is over now.
