Players already briefing to the media that they concerned with oles training methods in the first week of pre season and how much running they have to do.

Considering its mark ogden reporting, could it be one of the british core?

Agree1 Disagree2

thats a result of 6 years of 0 effort,

its good because ole will find out who is actually committed to the cause.

God forbid they have to run for their money.

Too much running?

Im sorry but last time I checked they were earning 100's of thousands a week.

I'd bloody run 30 miles a day naked whilst screaming "louis van gaal's red army" if I earned that kind of money.

There were concerns within the squad as early as February that OGS approach was too British and lacking expertise.

Fitness was identified as key to OGS, yet Moyes also tried to focus on fitness rather than technique which also left the players unconvinced of the approach.

For me fitness is vital, you have to run in the modern game so squeaking about it doesn’t cut much ice. However, perhaps the key is not the running but who they are running for and why. Interesting they brought up Moyes. If neither Moyes or OGS had or have the confidence of the players in what they are trying to do, it would have the effect of making some grumble. Perhaps it is who is asking them to run harder because they don’t believe in what they are doing, the end product of it, rather than the fitness aspect, which will be hard work.

The problem is they are a spoilt lot. Not all of them but a lot.

The last manager requested we sit back and we were constantly out-run by our opponents. The manager before played the slowest football in the premier league.

I fully back Ole if he’s demanding more from the players and if they want to bitch and moan about it they don’t deserve to play for Manchester United or any other club for that matter.

Weggy I would pay to watch you and be cheered up you if our football is like last seasons.

They should be doing triple sessions if they moan about having to be fitter than working harder than last season.

Any news on a Director of Football?

It is not a matter of right or wrong. It is a matter of order. Ole is the boss. If he tells them to spend an hour doing cart wheels around the car park, that's what they need to do. with a good attitude. Anything else is not respecting the authority of his position, regardless of who he is. Moyes LVG and Jose were all disrespected. It doesn't matter who the manager is, the players will disrespect them until it is made clear that is not acceptable.

Red man, either Mourinho doesn't rate fitness very highly or he couldn't get them fit either. Apparently a managers CV means nothing to these players.

Or it’s just gossip to sell newspapers and none of it is true.
