80m Euros plus Bale or Isco for Pogba?

I'd snap their hand off and take either, would you?

Agree5 Disagree10

No to Bale due to injuries, age and wages.

No to Isco due to productivity and i have doubts whether he'd want to play europa league so would probably only be coming for the money.

I think we will probably have to take a compromised fee for pogba if we are so desperate to get rid. Somewhere in the region of what we paid to get him out of juventus.

80m. plus. Vinicius. Jr. Please.

No to bale but if it were possible and not just media clickbait, It would be a decent deal with Dybala and cash but as as ed 002 has stated numerous times, we don't seem keen on swapsys.

It looks as though we will have to change that stance and take a player regardless of where he goes as the clubs who want him are sailing close to the wind financially.

Definitely not Bale, if we want 150m for Pogba then a Bale plus cash offer will need to be 200m + Bale. We'll need the extra 50m to fund the medical department and build a golf course at Carrington.

Isco is an interesting one. He is a phenomenal player when played in the right system. There are two questions that need answering, firstly would he be happy to drop down into the Europa League. Secondly, will we play a system that plays to his strengths.

We signed Di Maria from Real Madrid, then tried to shoehorn him in several different positions and systems, never giving him a chance to settle (not that he wanted to) . Which meant we never saw the best of him.

Money back plus bake would tempt me I'd have to say. But its heart ruling head.
Would all depend in the terms.
Is bale finished at the very top?
Can he be fit enough?
Would he bee motivated enough?
Too many unanswered questions.

Bale is so uninterested in being a world class football player that his agent has repeatedly said that he has no intention of leaving a club that doesn’t want him because he values his life in Spain more than playing regularly.

People writing off Bale is an odd one. He’s streets ahead of anything we have down our right hand side. I’d accept what we paid for Pog plus another player and move on. Bale over Isco for me.

We all know what permissions require work now. If we were to take a player in part exchange then it should be someone that fills one of those positions. Otherwise it should be straight cash so that we can then purchase what we actually need.

Bale and Sanchez could smash the pl pogba and his agent used us to move to Madrid, his heart was never in it, until we employ/ run United right we will be waiting for our past.

Agreed. A rotating front line of Rashford, Martial, Bale and Sanchez supported by James. sounds pretty eye watering to me, and I’m not just talking about the wage bill.

Ed could you give us a run down an how Saul and Milinkovic Savic compare as players just in case either are possible signings?

{Ed001's Note - there is no real comparison other than both can play in central midfield. Saul is an aggressive player who can cover multiple positions and is a very willing worker getting up and down the pitch. Milinkovic-Savic is not as hardworking and is happiest when allowed freedom to just drive forward. Saul can play anywhere across the back or midfield, wide or central, while Savic is just a central player. Saul is up amongst the best midfielders around, Savic has lots of potential but his development has stalled the last couple of years.}
