long time reader but first time post my thoughts. I am from bangladesh and by soul man u. my country is utter poor in football but I have played professional football and now a coach. near future hope for fifa pro lisense. with my mates, we have analised 5 match of liverpool, man u and man c where opponent and home/ away condition same. the analysis gave some socking truth. example, ball at right wing position in other half where opponent had 4 to 5 players with 3 or 4 available for own team. in this 5 match liv got 21,man c got 24 and man u got 9 of same situation. liv converted 17,man c 19 and man u 3 to dengarous attack. believe it or not all 9 time lingard have the ball. liv and man c have b silva and salah most but even kompany and vvd there one time. I proved that we are playing limited football where players are static. all 3 dangerous attack involved pogba. that means if lingard finds pogba then it is a attack. if he finds matic, fred etc it is either back pass or lose the ball. from salah to fabinho, winaldum, milner or b silva to gundogan, bruyne or fernandindo, the intensity almost the same. but from lingard to fred or to pogba or matic or anyone, every time different things will happen. so midfield is the main concern in our opinion for man u. defence, attack or pogba is not that bad. but midfield with fred or lingard beyond poor. if the center of the field have no balance then pressure in defence is obvoious. pardon me if I said anything brutal. hope for good season of us. bye.

Hi, and welcome to the site. Interesting analysis. It's clear we don't move the ball quickly enough. The question is why? Is the movement of the forward players poor, or are our midfielders reluctant to play the more dangerous passes.

my friend who has ca degree have suppoter. he is not the problem. but problem is that this type mentallity people currently run our club. they fist think about business then football (ocasinally) . player that signed to fullil the system, playing style is not necessary. sanchez is the prime example. sanchez best fit in pl is liverpool, then man city then arsenal. he is not fit either man u or chelsea or tottenhum. but we signed him for business purpose. south americam third biggest star after messi and neymar will play for us--- actually it was in woodward mind.

We have no natural RW hence nobody to bring others into play down that side and everything ends up down the left.
