Would people be happy with his signing at right back?
27 years of age, good going forward, poor defensively as most full backs are, could help a lot if ole wants to play 3 at the back on occasions with wing backs.

I like him as a rb option due to his experience and ability.
The price seems reasonable. He has a good physique and seems to have a good engine.
Im not so sure ole will play 3 at the back too often and shaw is not at his best as a wb imo.

He’s of the right age and experience, attainable, and arguably at the peak age for a full back so we should get his best years. He seems like a good option.

The deal looks a good one to allow Dalot more time to develop rather than rushing him in under pressure. And solves the immediate RB issue for a reasonable price clearing funds for CB CM RW.
Not British, so what does that mean for the remaining 4 positions?

He would probably just shade it as my first choice for RB this summer. So yeah I would be pretty happy.
He is the right age to allow Dalot to develop.
He is the right level of quality, and can offer great attacking threat down the right hand side.
Plus he is a United fan, and has been to Old Trafford on numerous occasions to watch us. Once even getting fined after his travel arrangements getting back to Paris were delayed and he missed a game for PSG.
