I liked Herrera always gave his all could of been captain material due to the distinct lack of leaders as I think he'd be a squad player at any of the top 4 clubs this season. But a farewell video? Seriously? Dressing it up like he's the 2nd coming of Cantona good grief what a load of crap.

Gave 5 years of a short career to us. Got overlooked.

Thanks for the memories Ander. And for the video ❤️.

Oh come off it! I thought things like that were reserved for players who had achieved legendary status or pretty damn near it. Celebrating mediocrity ain't going to get us anywhere.
Ask yourself why he was overlooked? Like I said I liked him couldn't fault his effort and desire but he didn't even have 10 Brilliant matches in any one season for us. Then there's you with your little love heart like it's the end of some great legacy been left.

I’m with good on this one Wazza. I love Herrera but the video is OTT. He’s done OK, I’m sad to see him go but that video? Players come and go, he’s been a solid player, probably underrated due to all the dirty work he does but the video made me cringe.

Lolll stop hating. He gave more to the club then anyone in the club for the last 5 years. He never disrespected anyone, never use to cry when not in the playing 11 and qas much better then some of you thunk he is.

The only. other player that deserv3s more respect in the last 5 yeqrs is DeGea and possibly Mata because he has shown enourmous respect for the club. He probably loves the club and if it wasnt for Utd screwing him around for last 2 years he wouldve signed an extention.

Nice guy. Jack of all trades, master of none. The most interesting thing about Herrara's Man Utd story was the strange tale of the blokes who turned up in Bilbao the year before he eventually signed, apparently posing as Man Utd representatives. Either they were trying to run a scam or they actually worked for Woodward and did such a bad job they were eventually disowned. Whatevr the case, he has been a solid, hard-working pro at the club, nothing more. sadly that makes him exceptional in recent years.

There's no hating like I said I like him and respect the passion and enthusiasm he's played with. But you'd want a player lifting you off your seat year on year to be getting that level of respect.

If he wants to leave then that's up to him thanks for at least trying and bye. Surprised the video doesn't cut to Sanchez playing the piano as Herrera walks away sadly just so we feel like we've got some use out of our no 7.
Were was John o sheas video?

O'Shea's video was mistakenly put in the wrong box and returned to blockbuster but the club inside show the jungle book every year at the Christmas party.

The man is saying thankyou! Thank you and good luck Mr Herrera!

Have to agree with good on this. Solid enough pro gave his all and probably should of been made captain through lack of candidates but not good enough to compete for the top honours in the 1st eleven. We need better and hopefully his replacement will be, if not as a team we’ll only achieve the mediocrity of the last 5/ 6years.

Richard the actually full quite is " jack of all trades, master of none but better than a master of one". Tend to agree with that, although Herrera wasnt really jack of all trades, many things always lacked from his game.
Good player regardless, will be missed.
