We should, not saying we will, but we should go on a run after the break. The teams we play are all winnable until we hit arsenal and city in December.
I lived through the glory years as a kid, so to be looking at this type of approach and assessing where we might win is not a great feeling, but it is where we are currently.
Roll on Brentford where I hope we turn up for at least the first 2minutes to stop their current trend!

One would argue the games we’ve already had were winnable in the main and we’ve made a pigs ear of them. U might be right but I wouldn’t be confident and honestly I wouldn’t be shocked if Brentford beat us at OT after the break.

I think i have read this post earlier as well. Was it the start of the season? Or was it start of September or both? No games are winnable till we have the tactician at the helm.

Brentford are currently better than us i'd say they hasn't their chances.
8th in the table negative goal difference 5 goals scored in 7 games.
We need to go on a run but we won't.

We are 14th Ken. not 8th. Or was that some optimistic views from you for the first time in 2 decades?

On the contrary jimbob. I'm very optimistic for the future. Medium term. Immediate term I'm not so sure. Sacking him 7 games in seems to be the right thing to do but I'm realistic enough to understand that could produce more difficultly unless they can get the right man.
Interim positions don't sit well with me personally.
So it's up to those in charge to decide if and when his position and their current stance of support becomes untenable.
It's past that point for some fans not for others and some still buy into eth and his vision but they are few and far between.
I really don't care who comes in I don't care what they have or haven't done elsewhere I will only care about what they do here when they get here.

Still optimistic about the short term myself. No one is talking about shutting out Villa, who have been one of the better teams this season so far. There has to be some positives.
Was it a must not lose game plan, maybe, was the plan executed, yes.
International break, and hopefully the other side of it, we have some better performances. In fairness, have been waiting for decent performances for a long time, that statement captures the last few years of Fergie's reign also.

If the plan was not to win the game and was executed I'd suggest it was the wrong plan to begin with.
